Probably my favorite boba in the area. LOVE the taro milk tea with honey boba!
Drinks are great but the popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries were so bad they were almost inedible. Also took 20 mins to make the food.
They have treated me very well in the past when drinks weren't up to standard. They made it right including with calls from the corporate office. So we go back even though the space inside is a little cramped. The drinks are good but if you know these drinks you know they're quite expensive. $18.50 for three drinks for two kids and an adult is not cheap.
Been frequenting pengo for years at both local locations . Never again will I go back my four year old just sucked up a hair in her smoothie. Upon checking there is multiple hairs in the smoothie . Get your stuff hair nets and answer the phone while your at it .City health inspector has already been called . This is beyond unacceptable especially with Covid .
I tried to contact the eltoro store. I let them know that when I got home, 5 mins away from the store, the mini boba was mushy and terrible. I was hoping to get a response but nothing. That’s why I’m leaving this review. Don’t go to this location. They are terrible and not super friendly. Customer service is horrendous. I’ll change my review if the manager wants to reach out.
Decently priced and great tasting boba place. Thai green tea is aweaome.
This place is weight bias at the extreme. Was very rude to an overweight lady that came in and wanted her to wear a mask which she had complied to. Then 3 other skinny people came in and they didn’t have masks and the employee didn’t care. She was really nice to them this is very low class of them and they lost my business. Won’t be coming here again because I don’t support businesses that do this to people.
Laguna Hills Pengo Drink Station makes this Lake Forest location look like a bunch of frauds. The Watermelon Chiller I got here tasted like they just threw some blended (not very well) watermelon over hard undercooked pieces of boba. It was gross. I’m used to my Laguna Hills Pengo location who perfectly crafts and flavors their drinks. Highly recommend skipping this location and heading over to the Pengo in Laguna Hills instead. 0 out of 10 would not recommend
Seen a roach on a table and i was truly disgusted! The boba and drink quality is HORRIBLE. Employees are rude and and dont know how to treat customers .Terrible terrible customer service and unsanitary. This location will never be seeing me again!
