I left D&B because of horrible service and found this location through a search, figured I give it a shot because of their reviews. I'm a loner and very much an introvert, because of that I literally was there alone. There was no place at the bar to sit so I sat at a table. Food, service, staff and etc was great.I ordered their spicy burger. Yes, it has some kick which was nice. But, the grease and oil saturated the bottom buns. I always order my burgers medium raw, so the saturation was kind of expected. This is where and why I'm giving this place a 1 star review. I ALWAYS eat my French fries last! So, after finishing my burger I stepped away to wash my hands. When I returned I noticed they took away my plate of French fries that I was purposely trying to save to eat at the end. At least they left my beer and water at the table. Once again I purposely leave French fries and pickles until the very end! $15 for a burger and not able to enjoy my favorite part of my meal has left a horrible impression of this place.

Came after work for a beer and some onion rings. All was good but suddenly found something in the ramekin bottom.I kinda dug it up and looked like a cruton but the bar lady says it looks like a piece of chicken.Either way the episode needless to say spoiled my appetite.Nothing was offered for upsetting my appetite not 1/2 off or a coupon on the next visit.Just it was only chicken, No big deal right.Don't get me wrong the food is really good however if you find chicken in your dipping sauce really wouldn't you expect a bit of professional courtesy. It's not like I ordered chicken fingers.

Update: Would still recommend this place! Best bar in Lake Forest. Food is delicious and not for the faint of heart. Portion sizes are ridiculously impressive. Indoor and outdoor seating and lots of beers to select from.4 years ago: Love the staff/bartenders here! Great service, food is more than decent (proportions are also massive), great beer selection, free yummy peanuts & lots of TVs to catch your favorite game. Definitely a gem in Lake Forest!

Big and good food, easy to find, plenty of parking. Great place to catch a game with friends. Can't go wrong here...

Ordered delivery. I don't dock places due to how I know delivery food can be. This is always allowed for in my reviews.I got the Hero Burger w/ side of caesar salad, sub beef with turkey, asparagus fries, grilled artichoke and the "famous" chili. I always have to try the chili, esp when it's being called "famous".Burger was missing the added bacon that they charged me for. The patty is a cooked-from-frozen deal, which is always a disappointment. I also added grilled onions and got raw white onion along with the raw red already on the Burger. Yup, paid extra for the grilled ones. The caesar salad was a regular side salad with the cheese and mushrooms. Not romaine and stuff that comes with it. I will say it's easily a couple servings and huge. The asparagus is good. The artichoke was great. But I ordered, and paid for, a side of ranch and got nothing yet again. The chili is bland and exceptionally boring. Can't understand why there's anything "famous" about it.

Bar guy is a little rough but the drinks are strong and reasonable. Food isnt the best for healthy eating but that's typical at the bars. Seems to be going downhill fast here. They have pulled back hours and staff. Quality is starting to slip. I feel like covid has done to much damage here.

My husband found this place on Instagram and we decided to head out and see what all the hype is about and wow i was not disappointed. This place is so good I had the flaming dog and started happy dancing lol the service here was great! Definitely will be coming back.

This place has so much potential on being a great place for craft beer. But all their taps are for show. They only have a small section of craft beers. In the photos, if you look closely at all the taps with a ring around it, they don’t have that beer. From the small selection, I ordered an beachwood Amalgamator IPA. It was very flat, almost no carbonation at all. It was also very malty, unlike a Beachwood brew. Probably a very old keg. The next beer I ordered was a relax it's just a hazy IPA, from Offshoot. This one was very good and it didn’t taste like it was an old beer. The flavor, carbonation and color were there. The bartender was very nice and helpful. He was also checking to see if I was doing ok and if I needy anything. He even asked if I wanted something else on the TV. I said sure because they had on tennis. The food I ordered was very good. I ordered their breakfast burger and it hit the spot. I can’t wait to go back to get that burger again. I also got their chicken wings to go and brought them to my girl on her lunch break from work and she said they were very good.

The worst fish and chip I have had in 61 years. I spoke with Eduardo the kitchen manager and let him know the fish was uncooked and the steak fries were soggy and tasted old. He stated he had no authority to take if off of my bill and that there was no floor manager. Kristi was quite apologetic as my server and Raul was good at bringing my IPAs out nice and cold. I have been frequenting this place for years and was taken back by the lack of accountability and responsibility for the substandard meal. I very rarely leave negative reviews yet this was warranted and I am really not sure if I will return or recommend this restaurant in the future. A true shame...

Over priced, under tated service, couldn't understand a word the person behind the bar was saying. Too much of a click bar . 3rd time and the last time I'll stop in for a cocktail and food. Service is terrible. A very uncomfortable place to be in, nothing friendly about it. Better when it was owned by Jim and when it was known as Aldos
