Good variety of sushi, rolls, and nigiri. I liked the baked mussels, tako nigiri, and Cajun salmon.
Excellent experience overall!Small and cool little restaurant in Lake Forest. Reservations only for AYCE (All You Can Eat.) Only inside seating.AYCE $35 per person!It was only two of us and it was our first time here, so we didn’t know what to expect or how things worked. We came on a Friday around 5:00 pm. No waiting to be seated.We noticed lots of people ordered for take out, so lots of people seemed to know about this place!Staff was very friendly and helpful. She explained exactly how everything worked, and if we wanted to do AYCE or order individual. We said AYCE not really knowing what to expect. Since it wasn’t too busy, they took us in and set us up on our table.Service was quick, and the food was actually really good. We do not have one complaint about the food! All sushi rolls we ordered were delicious.Once we were done, our waitress comes, checks our orders and said: “I will change your stay from AYCE to individual and set you up on two combos, since you guys didn’t really eat enough, and it will be a bit cheaper.” (That was really nice of her)It was an excellent experience here. Will definitely come back again.
All the prices here have been white outed and raised. I also thought the reservation was just to for the all you can eat sushi so they know how many people it'll be, but it's for going in general. They still gave the 2 of us a table because they had space but we had to stand there looking lost for a while before they even looked at who walked in. We went because we wanted ramen but apparently they only serve ramen at lunch. There's a Lunch page and the Ramen section is under it, but it says "all noodle options are served lunch and dinner" next to it. Turns out that's not true haha. We apologized to them and went somewhere else :(
If there is a zero star option, I would give this place no star. My husband and I got food poisoning after eating there. We were up all night going to the bathroom. Geez…we will never eat there again!
Best sushi in the area. Fresh fish. Portions were great and the sushi to rice ratio was perfect. I definitely recommend this place.
I'd skip this place if you're seeking good quality sushi. Better alternatives in the area.
The price is a bit high for all you can eat sushi ($35/person) but the service is great and the food is delicious, and desert is included. I recommend this place.
Absolutely the best AYCE sushi place around staff is wonderful and the food is even better! Will be returning!
Chill environment, great sushi, great service, and the green tea ice cream was amazing. Definitely coming back.
