I have eaten here a couple times. The chicken is a little better than the beef. Sauces are lacking a bit. The vege options boring too. I'd reccomend Pita Pita restaurant over this place any day!!!
This place offers unique blend of Mediterranean and Indo-European cuisine, served fastfood style. Portions are ample that we would order one item to share and get a good filling. Also, prices are reasonable.It's unusual to find desserts offered but this is the Turkish way, dessert is a very vital part. Choose from baklavas, ice cream or cakes. The drinks are very unique too.Been to other branches but been to this location only twice but sure will be coming back for more. Yum!!
It was by accident I found this little Gem of a restaurant. I was on a jobsite in Irvine, CA. and very unfamiliar with the area, I decided to take a little cruise and get a bite to eat. We drove about a 1/4 mile from Best Western Plus and found a small shopping center devoted to eateries. I spent a week there each day trying out the different flavors from a variety of authentic food walk-ins. The Turkish style food was excellent here and they cook it all right there no frozen or bagged food. Veggies are fresh and crisp and the meats are so flavorful. If your in the area look them up! I certainly will 5 Starz
Could be 5 Stars but the second I walk out and eat the pita sandwich is cold. Make the bread hot and most important the meat! I saw in Europe the keep the meet after cut hot in the meet juice that makes it super tasty, here everything was cold!
This place was amazing! Our first stop on a vacation to California, great way to begin our trip! The Turkish Street Fries were fantastic and the service was excellent, will be coming back!!
I used to frequent this location when I lived in the city. Once I had to move out of the county, I'd still make an effort to stop by since I loved the food. While living there and wven when i move 30+ away they had no issue packing my salad in a separate container so that it would not make the food soggy, and gave me yummy sauce to my heart's content.I now live 70+ miles away. This last time, they insisted they must charged me 50 cents extra to pack my salad separate although I explained my reason, and despite paying extra for extra protein, limited me to 2 of those small containers for sauce. If I wanted extra, 75 cents each! (But I'm buying more protein; I still have to ration my sauc!) I get that food prices went up, but such a shame to deter people from making an effort to go there by nickeling and diming. I now live 70+ miles away. I'll find another eatery when I'm in town.
They almost always leave things out of the order on purpose. Check your order before you leave. Usually happens when the younger guy who works the front is working. Happens way too often to be an accident or mistake. Good food but service sucks.
Love Doner G! One of our regular lunch choices. Feels healthy and is quite tasty. Tried the Keto wrap today and LOVED it!!! Nice people behind the counter and a quiet casual spot to have a chill lunch.
My husband and I had a great date night here. Wonderful food, and the staff was extremely kind, helpful, and patient! I’m not super familiar with all the food/sauce options, and the worker was patient and explained things to me multiple times. Thanks for a great experience.
Staff is always super friendly and welcoming. Food is reliably delicious and good sized portions! Inside is clean. Turkish Street fries are a favorite.
