Maui Hawaiian BBQ has delicious food and excellent customer service. I love going here because they have good food proportions for the cost and they have amazing special offers. Currently they have a BOGO with their boba teas, which are the best in town. My favorite meal is the chicken combination with the katsu and grilled chicken. Both are cooked well and have a great flavor.
Ordered at 12.40 and by 1.05 my order still wasn't ready. I was the only person inside the place. And only ordered chicken no rice no pastaFirst time here and don't think I'll come back. I can only imagine how long the wait would be during a lunch rush.
A roach fell from the cieling and landed on the booth, we only knew this happened because of the sound it made from falling onto the booth. When we told the cashier about it she just said "oh I'll clean it" and then went back to cashiering (no customers were in line). As we watched the roach slowly walk from the tables to the kitchen we decided to ask for our money back because EW. She told us it's because it's warm outside so the bugs come in............again EW.
Lived around the area for two years now, and ordered many times from here. I like the friendliness of the woman worker who is usually there, but tonight she wasn't and her husband/coworker was working the register. Not only was he rude to me but I had to wait 40 minutes for two Hawaiian BBQ mix. It wasn't busy as it usually is, only one person in the restaurant with me.No matter the time, the day, or how many people there is, always expect a 30-40 minute wait on average. Either call ahead(like an hour before pickup)or head down the street to ono Hawaiian BBQ. Same food, but less waiting.
The food here is really good. Love the chicken and ribs, but they are so so slow. Today it took 18 minutes to get a rub mini meal.... and it's it weird that with a take out order they don't give you a fork or napkins?
They take to long to prepare a plate of food never coming here again
Moving from Hale'iwa to Elsinore in the late 2000s, I *really* liked this place for years. Over time though they seemed to have declined a lot; nowadays their floor is extremely dirty, waiting times are ridiculous, and their food simply isn't remotely as good as it used to be. I loved this place but it seems it's been in massive decline

Everything was good and fresh, but the meat was cut paper thin and I mean paper thin, I didn't like that?
