The food was amazing, however, the waiter was pretty lackadaisical and not very enthusiastic and could have been a little more attentive for the number of people in the restaurant. Slight issue with the drink order. Overall, the flavors will surprise your palate and have you wanting more. My only gripe would be the cleanliness of the condiment bottles on the tables, otherwise, a very good place to spend your money.

I had the fried catfish with the seafood reduction sauce. It was some of the best food I've ever had. The fish was crispy and the inside soft and juicy. The sauce was unbelievable, it added a layer of complexity to an already good dish. I will definitely be back.

Great great food definitely made with soul, really tasty, great service and environment, 5 star rating , We are going to be back for sure!šŸ˜‹

This was horrible. The tea was starting to ferment, and was bitter and sour. The food was terrible. Look at the mac and cheese, it was put through a microwave for petes sake! They make such a large quantity all at once and then just microwave it. I BET THE MICROWAVE IS USED HERE MORE THAN THE OVEN! The ribs were dry and smelled funky, why? Because they were made in bulk and then microwaved! So all of the moisture was gone!! They microwaved any and all juice out of it! There was so much fat and oil in the brisket I will be completely surprised if we don't get sick here! As a plus, the corn bread actually wasn't too bad. STAY AWAY! NO PLACE THAT TAKES 20 MINUTES TO MICROWAVE YOUR FOOD AND SERVE YOU ROTTEN FERMENTED TEA DESERVES TO BE IN BUSINESS!!As a follow up reply to the owner, thank you for being so kind and taking inititive in your business. I have changed my review to a 2 star because of it. I'm sorry but I was frustrated having paid $50 for what I thought to be a nice meal for my wife and only to have everything microwaved. This was confirmed leaving as I saw in the kitchen, a lady scooping the mac and cheese, (served to me) out of a 20 gallon plastic container that was taken out of the fridge and was to be microwaved and served to a customer. The waiter didn't care, and the cooks clearly didn't either. I stated what is in this review to the waiter and he brushes it off saying he wasn't the one that prepared the food. No offer to speak to the chef, management, anyone. Hopefully you can fix this, best wishes to you and your restaurant!

Wasn't very impressed with BBQ here. I had brisket platter for $22 and over half of it was fat. I realize with brisket you will have some fat, but it seemed excessive to me. What wasn't fat was chewy, not moist. Candied yams were oily or excess butter? Husband ordered 1/2 baby back & 1/2 chicken platter with mac & cheese .. his ribs were dry & chewy, he only ate a few bites of the ribs and his mac & cheese was crusty & dried out like they had been reheated in microwave, his chicken was okay. The corn bread was good. We told our server & he apologized, but nothing else. We realize everyone's tastes differ, so to some this may be best BBQ, but to us it was not good.. just our opinion. Picture shows fat from brisket.

I had a great experience here. I found this place just by driving by honestly. I’m happy I did and recommend anyone to give it a try. The cornbread which is unlimited is certainly a gem.Check out my Instagram for more food reviews @jamillionaire5

Fantastic catfish lunch for only 11 bucks! couldn't beat it. Atmosphere was nice, service was great, really enjoyed it. Great little cornbread muffins. I will definitely go back.

This was my first time at this restaurant. I've been looking for some good tasting barbecue in town. By Golly! I've found a spot. I took one bite of my rib tips and I was hooked in. Even the corn bread they brought out for us to eat on before we got our meal was "Off the Chain". I will definitely recommend this place to my friend's & family. The Sweet Tea was perfect as well. ā¤ļø? "Finger Licking Good" ????

Mediocre meat. Lunch time on a Sunday. Got the tri-tip and brisket platters. Okay at best. My daughter got the BBQ beef sandwich which she said slaps.?Each of the sides tried were very good.

Decided at the last minute to go to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We were given warm cornbread muffins with whipped butter when we sat down. Wow they were delicious!! Soft in the middle and a little crunchy around the edges with a slight taste of sweetness. The fried green tomatoes were some of the best we have had. Fried with cornmeal that does not over power the taste of the tomatoes. Main coarse we had baby back ribs, catfish, red beans and rice and coleslaw. Meat fell off the rib bones. The catfish was fried in cornmeal and was crunchy and flaky. Everything we put into our mouths was so so good.Almost forgot the sweet tea. Holy cow!! I am from the south and love my sweet tea. I never order it if not in the south because it usually isn't very good but Felix's is fantastic. Sweet but not syrup and not bitter at all.So glad we choose this place and we will definitely come back. Still want to try the gumbo and fried chicken.
