Outstanding food. One of the best hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants I've found. Seats are old and vintage with plenty of wear and tare. This place even has a drive-thruI got the chicken fajitas and they were amazing. Home made tortillas are amazing. I left no scraps. My beautiful love had the taquitos and she thought they were amazing as well.
I had known the owner from when he and his brother opened Don Meres on Newport and i always loved the food. I was going through Elsinore today and stopped by. I loved my food. I got Carnitas Chille Verde and it was delicious. The home made corn tortillas are also wonderful.There were few customers. I know this is due to today's economic and covid situation.I want them to survive. If you haven't already please givem a try.
Pretty good food. Everything is made as you order from what I can tell. I give it 3 starts because their drive though ordering system could be upgraded, and they take a bit long to get orders done. Seems a lot faster when you walk in.
I don't like to leave awful reviews but this was hands down the worst place I have ever been. Whatever cream/mayo they put on my ceviche was horrible and instantly gave me a stomach ache. When I couldn't eat anymore I noticed actually gunk on the corner of my place I was able to scrape off with my finger nail ?? the bathroom was like a portal to Antarctica and the sink only had hot and hotter water. My daughter literally burned her finger trying to wash her hands.
Support your local business, you need to eat here!!!...... come get a breakfast burrito, I've only had the bacon one, it is ???!!!! Full of eggs, bacon, potatoes, cheese, salsa, & refried beans with so much flavor that when you are done eating you wish you had more. Every time I pass thru town I stop here, you should too!!!
Have been here dozens of times easily the best Mexican food I've had in Lake Elsinore. The burritos and Carne asada fries are second to none. Great service from the staff

Very impressed! I've passed by this place for years and never stopped. I only did because there was no parking along the main drag of Main Street. With a pinched nerve in my foot, I can't walk very far. I'm so glad I stopped here. I have been missing out this whole time. There is plenty of parking. Service was great and food was very very good. Inside was nice and cool on a very hot day and clean. Pretty empty, so I got my food right away. This is essential with only a 30 minute break. I'll be back for sure!
