In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. Raising Cane's and the employees who work here have offered up their best work every time I have visited this fine establishment. When they call out "hot fresh chicken for ______", they MEAN IT! Every order I've placed here has come out perfectly, the chicken was hot and crispy, the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the BOB style toast was golden brown with a delightful little crunch on the outside. Truly the best Raising Cane's I've visited (aside from the original in Baton Rouge)! One love from a true caniac like myself!
The food here is great, but the drive thru situation is a nightmare that management needs to fix immediately. Due to the layout of the parking lot, there are two competing lines with lots of angry customers forced to constantly fight with each other to get into the 'real' drive through line. This leads to lots of people 'stuck' without a way to get out and very angry. They need someone out there directing traffic. We will not be coming back until they get this fixed. If you come here do yourself a favor and order ahead.
First time ever at a Raising Cane's. The drive through was way too long so we decided to walk in. The menu is straightforward and ordered a 4 peice combo. No less than 4 minutes later my order was ready. The chicken was good, meaning that it had a good crisp and texture, and the actual meat was not dry. If anything I wish I had ordered an extra Cane's Sauce, but I was fine without it. The toast was a decent size, and personally I don't care for coleslaw so that wasn't a factor. The fries were nothing extraordinary, but were a good compliment to the meal. Overall happy with the experience and will certainly pick this over the typical fast food joints.
Canes sauce is amazing. I always like the service and enthusiasm from the employees at this Cane's location. I've been eating here for years, since I work nearby (sorry to my heart). And over the last few months my co-workers and myself have all seen the size of the chicken shrink SO MUCH! I would argue more than 50% in size/weight. Yesterdays chicken was barely larger than a chicken nugget, so I'm over it.
What an experience! Just crazy good chicken. The sauce just hits different and the people are ready to serve. You know the drill go get you self a box combo and chill with the boys. (A caniac if you feel up to it) switch the slaw for an extra sauce or toast and you got your self all you need. Wherever I got I just crave this delectable chicken. Just enough crunch with a nice tender chicken that makes you wanting more. What are you doing get down there already.
Loved the freshness of the food , restaurant tables were constantly being cleaned after customers finished using seating areas
I'm from Louisiana so it was a warm welcome to see canes in California, I was there and apart of the very 1st canes at gates of LSU... The food is still same great satisfying addictive taste, yet the portions especially bread seems smaller. The price obviously is way higher because it's California. Other than that it was fast service even with a line that wrapped and employees were nice. Difficult entrance and parking
Some great crispy chicken not gonna lie. Also with the side of some great staff who recommended the lemon juice and it did not disappoint. Even though nandos has current the number one spot in my stomach, this place will have a spot in the top 7. The coleslaw was also great but too little
Worth the wait. I am team Canes all day. The sauce is the best thing ever and get the toast buttered in both sides! I’m not a coleslaw person so I sub it out for more toast. The drive thru is crowded but it usually isn’t a crazy wait because they are fast and making your food.
Order the three fingers combo take away. The chicken pieces are soft but not juicy at all. Disappointed that they taste like flour. When I asked for more sauce needed to charge me. And luckily I didn't have it cause it tastes weird. It's like adding tomato paste and bunch of herbs and salt into thousand Island. I don't think the person who made that sauce knew what he was doing.Overall not a good experience and I won't recommended it.
