The star of the foods was the elote corn. I know, it's weird, but yea the corn was amazing. The ceviche was good, but the corn was amazing. I gave it three stars because they forgot about the corn, they dont have ac and it was hot, and the service was slow but the food was pretty good.
With all the touristy restaurants, Wild Taco is not touristy and the food is top notch. For the location the prices are expecting to be higher then normal, but the food does it justice.Please support local businesses and eat local, it’s more of an experience. I’m from Texas and I am all about tacos. The tacos at Wild Taco are very California tacos and that’s good thing. I was very happy with my meal and for filled.
The food taste fresh and reasonable portion. The waitress was so helpful and friendly, really enjoyed our meal, worth checking when you’re in Laguna Beach area.
Great food and margaritas! Their door is always open for that beautiful Pacific ocean breeze to pour in, unfortunately inviting lots of flies and gnats to join as well. Their plants need a good watering also as they are crumbling into despair.Despite these minor issues, I would recommend them 100% and will be back for more food and good service. If you're in the mood for a delicious taco and a walk on the beach, Wild Taco is your destination!
Food was amazing! We had the shrimp cocktail and it was sweet with just the right amount of spice. I also had a carnitas taco and it was probably the best carnitas I've ever had! We also got some oysters and they were pretty fresh! Chips and salsa were what you would expect. If you're reading this review before visiting and you like carnitas, definitely get a taco! Will definitely come back. Waitress also mentioned they do 2 tacos for 6$ during the week but I unfortunately live in North County, however the taco is worth the 4.99 price tag!
Dined during lunch on taco Tuesday. The special only includes three basic meats (chicken, fish, carnitas). Carnitas and chicken were good, but the meat was a little dry and it was on street size tortillas that were doubled, so extra dry. Enchilada and a skillet were better choices, with crisp but tender sauteed veggies and complex flavors. Ingredient quality was a plus. Overall the food was pretty good, very fresh, and at a good price point. It's not the best I've had but it is a great option for a quick bite if you skip the underwhelming tacos. The server forgot my beverage and kept mishearing one part of the order but the speed at which food was on the table kinda made up for it.
So, I've been in Laguna for like 6 Mos now, and as a former restaurant Manager, I can absolutely say that The Staff at Wild Taco ARE AMAZING.It is rare to find a team of people who are not only good at what they do, but do so with Passion, Care, Zeal and Commitment to Excellence.Because of the Men and Ladies at Wild Taco, every meal I have enjoyed there (1-2x weekly) over the last 6 months has been like having my Grandma or Mom prepare a meal for me.Every delicious morsel is made with Love.In fact the entire dining room overflows with Good Vibes out onto the Highway, and if you are lucky enough to stop in, it will be the BEST Meal of your Life.When I was new here and knew nobody, my friends at Wild Taco greeted me, welcomed me and gave me the Feeling and Experience that only a Local Resident might otherwise know and enjoy.And the thing is, they'll make you Feel That WAY Too.*note: I haven't taken photos of my meals in a little bit, but will do so soon and update this review.

I got sick from this place. Seems where the location is they should have to have good fun food… I had the carnita steer taco, meat was slimy and not done and fatty. It’s convenient location but food is lacking big time.
Great food and great service. Wade, Dirtbike, and make suggestions on a beer selection and after ordering Takashi suggestive text Gallert taco which was a great pic!Fish tacos and nachos on my way fresh jalapeños. The meat was superb. Definitely will be coming back..
