The menu and online reviews initallly looked great, so we decided to give this place a try. There were several issues: the orange juice had black grime floating to the top, and tasted more like a juice drink rather than freshly squeezed orange juice. The guy seemed bothered when I asked to swap it out. The Urth Laguna Breakfast was terrible, too. What was supposed to be a basil garnish actually covered the entire plate and made all of the food slightly taste like basil, along with an unidentified funky taste that I just can't pinpoint. The eggs were orange despite not having cheese in or on them, the potatos had a funky taste that I don't think was due to the basil, and the sausage links were under cooked given they were still pink in the middle. Last but not least, the coffee drinks we ordered didnt arrive until we were ready to leave. Save your money and avoid this place.
I just love the vibe and menu selection at all Urth locations. Located on PCH and Broadway/133S, you can find meter parking or around the neighborhood (parking permits not currently required - always call to check). Watch out for peak hours like lunch or breakfast because the line can wrap around the corner. It looks like they're a bit short staffed because whether you order to go or dine in, you can expect to wait 35-45mins for your order. That said, the staff and servers there are really awesome and super helpful. Their coffee selection is delicious! Their food is decent to good depending on what you order. Would absolutely recommend this place! And the cherry on top is its location - the beach. What more could you ask for? Enjoy!
Good place good service. We already two different salads, ordered one chicken dish some soups and some drinks. Everything was unique everything was delicious. I like how they practice social distancing in placing their tables outside. The servers are very helpful if you need any condiments or anything to help you right away with a smile. The food was fresh the serving time was not that long. Not disappointed with anything all good walked in happy I walked out happy. I forgot my server's name she was awesome I asked for a little spicy sauce and she gave me three different sauces all the different taste. Not only that she came back twice to see if I need anything else to make my food better. I'll definitely recommend this place and we'll go back again soon because my taste buds are still asking me to go back. Five stars for the service five stars for the food 5 stars for everything else.
Wow I forgot how dense and rich desserts are here. Its good but like I’ve had better for cheaper in nyc. It’s super pricey but good overall if you’re in love with the concept behind urth caffe. I always feel like it’s just absurdly overpriced. Service was good and parking nearby is easy to find.
Is my first time here, the food was good. The servers nice. But the prices is expensive. But is a nice restaurant with a great view

What a great spot for breakfast. With a gluten free wife, it can be difficult to find good options. Not here! And they were all friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend you at least stop by for a pastry and some coffee.
Lots of outdoors seating which is great because the weather here is almost always perfect! But for the days when it’s not, they have plenty of heaters all over the patio and umbrellas to protect from the sun. People really come here for the atmosphere. The food is alright depending on what you’re looking for. Breakfast is usually the most popular and they have the most options. Their desserts and coffee are pretty solid to if you just want to come by for an afternoon pick me up.Ordering is simple, order inside and they give you a number you place on your table. It can take some time to get your food, especially if they’re really busy.Overall a convenient spot in laguna beach with plenty of metered parking all around.
Awesome high quality food
From Michigan and love the options what to eat or drink. The caffee is authentic with so much vibe, the outdoor seating is great with heat to stay warm on cool mornings or cool nights.
