Beautiful place. The food is not so good. Risotto was full of cheese, hiding other flavors.
We arrived at 5pm on a Wed night and was able to get a nice seat outside with a nice view of the pool and somewhat limited view of the ocean (can't see the beach from that vantage point). All the servers and staff were very nice and accommodating. Our waiter wasn't super friendly, but I realize dealing with the public is hard. Some people want to engage in small talk and others want to be left alone, so that may be difficult to discern at times. I do wish he had let us know that the price of the entree special that our son ordered was 400% more than a regular entree price. That was a shock when we received our bill, but live and learn. Since we arrived before the dinner rush, it was a quiet and lovely evening and the food was delicious. A beautiful venue.
Pork chops were a little dry and the steak was chewy. Our server, Patrick was amazing and the desserts were amazing!
Very good meal, but menu items are very limited, compared to previous visits.
Most expensive meal we had in Laguna Beach and it was average at the best. My steak was over cooked and needed their provided steak sauce to provide flavor. Server, Brandon, and view from balcony was great though.
I had noted in my reservation since they asked of special occasions, that it was my birth dayâ¦. Not even a si gel candle to blow on my day⦠worst service ever, had to get up ourselves to get plates and dressing for our food, took over 50 minutes , waiter was all over the place , never eye contact ⦠just lousy. Canât believe we went there to celebrate my birthdate instead of all The wonderful restaurants we later saw around laguna â¦. Never going back to the loft
An outstanding place for special occasions. Meat & fish were excellent as well as the wine and deserts. Nice ocean views are available. I'll definitely come back there.
