The fish taco was excellent (love the blue corn, but make sure you ask for it) and the carnitas nachos were very good. Great salsa, too — probably my highlight.
Small taco place with huge flavor. We loved the food, though we should have ordered more... as it was our first time we did not know the portion sizes. Adults may need 3 to 4 tacos. The chips and salsa were great too. The staff was very friendly. Parking can be difficult so you will likely need to walk. There was plenty of outdoor seating available for our group.
We had a good meal at Taco Loco and the employee was super friendly and helpful. Sitting outside was lovely, the food delicious and satisfying, and we came away happy.
Great location for a good bite to eat after a day out and about with friends and family. They have an extensive menu and with many vegetarian and vegan options. Make sure you are specific when ordering because the food is often pre cooked and reheated for orders. I’ve have been here many times and it can be hit or miss due to a lack of consistency. I do however still recommend stopping by for their blackened mushroom taco
This place is a not-so-hidden gem.While fish dishes are their bread and butter, they've also got tofu and other options for the non-fish eaters (keyword: vegeterian, vegan). Their refried beans are proudly made without lard -- but with the other l-word: Love. (You won't miss the lard.) For fish eaters, the fish is delicious, and they've got a bunch of different fish options to choose from.The staff is entertaining and friendly. Service is relatively quick -- they're clearly a smoothly oiled machine behind the beach-shack-not-actually-on-a-beach facade. There are a ton of fish-taco options in Laguna Beach, but we'd go back to this one without a second thought.
We got the salmon Taco and the vegan phish burrito. They were delicious and came out surprisingly fast. The banana chocolate smoothies were refreshing! Highly recommend Taco Loco for the atmosphere and the food.
I've been coming here for a bit on my walks in Laguna. First time getting the salmon salad and it was great. Fun place to sit in their patio, eat, drink and people watch on the weekends.
This place rocks. My wife and I stopped and ate here everyday on our trip. It's a MUST stop for a quick taco. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. It comes out within minutes and is seriously the best tacos I've had here in Laguna. The avocado pico slaw they put on them is so fresh and delicious. I recommend the shrimp.
Love love when menus clearly label vegan options!! The mushroom and/or potato tacos were our favorite. They have the most amazing guacamole and chips, and even a vegan dessert!! They’re open late, so this is our go-to vegan drunk street food in CA.
To say it simply and succinctly, the swordfish taco and salmon salad were fantastic! Rivalling some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place to eat when in Laguna beach.
