A great happy hour. Service was terrific. Food has been better, however still good.

Excellent food, as usual; however, our server spilled a drink on us, our food, our clothes. Wiped it, but left us wet w/o napkins. I got up & retrieved them from the kitchen. He offered to comp the drinks. Nice. We kinda felt bad for him, so we didnât mention the food being spilled on, our mistake. He charged us for our drinks & an additional one. He said it would be corrected via our card in a day or 2. Arrogant server. Weâll return, but donât want Adian as a server again. Recommending Starfish would be contingent on having a better experience next time.
Just as good as last summer. Our waitress (I canât remember her name!) truly went above and beyond. She knew every detail to every dish. Spicy edamame was fabulous. Hubby had wet ribs and loved every bite. I had a noodle dish with mushrooms. Yummy. It was my birthday dinner and deserts were fabulous, too. Looking forward to returning next trip!!
Great seated immediately, waiter arrived at our table within minutes, we were taken take care of very well by Jesse Help us make some dinner choices , canât wait to come back

The Starfish restaurant is my go to restaurant. I wish they'd initiate a Laguna Beach resident frequent customer card for a free goodie.
Celebrated our 37th anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I would recommend eating outside, if possible, as it is more conducive to dining than the dark interior that is dominated by the bar. Dinner service was excellent and the food was delicious. We shared five plates ⦠each entrée was beautifully presented, ingredients were fresh, and each plate presented a delightful tasting experience. We will definitely return to Starfish next time we are visiting Laguna Beach.
