Decided to try this place and we left extensively satisfied! The pizza was amazing, the staff was very friendly, store was clean, even little tables to sit outside. Great little spot for some really good pizza! Little pricey but you get what you pay for -shrug-
Walked by this corner last night, went inside and bought two strawberry shortcake ice cream from this place, Pizza Bar. There's no price posted anywhere, so the owner of this place charged me $22.62, unbelievable. This place is an absolute RIP OFF. This guy didn't even say it's $22.62, he just pointed at the small screen on the register. I think he was embarrassed knowing he is RIPPING OFF people, very greedy. I felt sorry for him, so I just paid him and walked out.
First time in here and I loved it. The pizza is delicious and good service. Definitely coming back.
10/10 would recommend eating here. This is the only place I've found after 2 years of living in California that you can buy just a slice. It's not one of those "designer" personal pie spots. This place is authentic! This is also the closest place I've found so far that has great tasting pizza! Coming from NY/NJ it's hard to to find anything that can match the true pizza taste. Everything out in California has been subpar and just ok...but Pizza Bar has given me a sign of hope. The crust is cooked to the perfect crispness and the vibes are true Italian hole in the wall pizza joint that I miss from back home ❤️
Do. Not. Eat. Here. The pizza is below mediocre (and that is being very, very generous!): the crust is nondescript, the sauce is a thick, gloppy layer of red stuff, and the cheese is flavourless, BUT the real problem is that a moderately small slice is $8.61! That’s right, you read correctly, $8.61 for one medium slice with no extra toppings. I understand Laguna Beach is a tourist area, but this is gratuitous highway robbery! I felt violated by this absurd price. It is just plain and simply a rip off. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice, but the price is ridiculous, and the pizza is just plain terrible.
The food tastes, smells, and looks great. The service was fast walked in and asked for an extra-large and was served in under 12 minutes. The worker was polite and very helpful in deciding the pizza. Worth the 36 dollars for a half and half pizza.
We ordered a medium pizza Half cheese half mushroom With 2 cans of Pepsi, they charged us $38.75. Then we looked at the menu on top and we realized the prices were covered in black tape. 10 minutes after we ordered the pizza we saw paper menus next to the register that said the pizza was only $22. I would assume to add mushrooms to your pizza it would be additional $3.00. So we went up to him and we told him how are we charged $38.75, The person at the register told us that he is trying to make a living and expenses has went up at restaurant depot. So we told him he has to honor the price of what he has next to the register on the printed menus . He started giving us an attitude and he finally refunded us $5.00 in cash. 10 minutes later the pizza was ready and when we brought it out to sit at the table and eat it was only halfway cooked. Terrible pizza place, they try to take advantage of the customers money wise to upsell people.Trying to take advantage of the system..Also when we opened the pizza it was full of water from the mushrooms. Plus the cashier was giving us an attitude
I always eat pizza hear whenever I go to the Laguna beach. It is delicious for me!!! And simple haha
First time getting pizza here. The location is great; right by the main beach. The price was reasonable considering the location. The pizza was delicious. The girl at the counter was friendly and courteous.Only complaint was there were only two employees working and this meant a long wait to get our pizza.
First time at this spot and let me say I have nothing negative to say. Was instantly greeted by the staff. The place is extremely clean and spotless. Their pizza smelled so good the moment you walked in the door. Their prices are reasonable and the view of the beach is lovely. Great spot to enjoy a day on the beach. They have a variety of selections to choose from you won’t be disappointed by coming here cause they are amazing in their service
