View is great. Service was pathetic. I came to montage to book a weekend for later in the month, and check out the view to make sure it was worthy of a birthday present trip. After telling Mosaic we were just visiting and not a current guest this particular weekend, we waited for 20min with no server even bringing water. I was looking over my shoulder at the empty restaurant with more hostess and waiting staff than patrons, and still no acknowledgment. Finally I went to the bar for service. Finally when the staff saw my Gucci wallet drop a stack of hundreds on ordering a couple drinks, someone came to the table to apologize. Insulting and pathetic experience for such a highly rated and $1000 a night hotel. Following this, I canceled my room reservation and don’t expect to ever come back, for how disregarding the staff at the hotel treated us. Booked with Terranea in Palos Verdes instead. BYE!
Great outdoor patio dining option at Montage. They have enough umbrellas to provide abundant shade and having the Pacific ocean in the background is not too shabby either.The staff are attentive and friendly, they seem to be working as a team to help each other and also to please diners.They had a nice variety of options for lunch, soup, salad, sandwich, and composed plates. We had salads and a hamburger and they were good. My salad was well (not over) dressed with balanced fixings. I would recommend coming to lunch here if you are looking for a pleasant outdoor dining option.
Mosaic is my favorite restaurant in Laguna beach! I've had everything on the menu and the food and service are top tier! The staff is so friendly and helpful and make me come back time and time again. I love the Bentley margarita and you can't go wrong with any of the signature plates! Paul is the sweetest and is always so accommodating.
The drinks are always so tasty, and the service is great! A big shoutout to Nick and Tyler at the Mosaic Bar! They always have a smile on their face and they make the best West Coast Watermelon cocktails.
The place is a poolside restaurant overlooking the ocean. The service is great, the food, however, is limited in options and average in taste with above-average prices as customary for a sea view hotel restaurant, but the view makes it all worth it.

Staff and scenery were absolutely delightful. Saul was my waiter and he was such a sweetheart. If only the food was half as delightful.. I paid $70 for lunch - a calamari appetizer that was mostly batter and a tuna poke bowl that left much to the imagination. Lesson learned!
