Lumberyard

We love the zucchini planks appetizer, the beet salad, and the chicken pot pie.

The Lumberyard was very good in every way, and it's a wonderful addition to the Laguna restaurant scene.

Great food for cost; outside seating perfect for quiet conversation.

We were greeted with a smile. Our waitress was pleasant, informative and available when needed. The food was very good especially the fresh oysters. We have already told friends of the restaurant. It is within walking distance of the Pageant of the Masters. We will return soon.

Our table was ready when we arrived, staff was friendly & Christina, our server was friendly & attentive. The food was outstanding!

I tried the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. My friend got the artichoke appetizer and neither of us liked it. The server was delightful and attentive and the restaurant has a nice vibe. I usually dine here when I attend the Pageant of the Masters.

Getting drink refills was very slow. The filet of sole was close to being burnt, and the menu said it came with mashed potatoes, but it came with rice. Also, the to go boxes were NOT satisfactory, they were a mess when we got home. We asked for a plastic bag and were told they were not allowed to have them. Our bill, before tip, was over $210 for four people, kinda high for the food and service we received.

Everyone in our group was very pleased with their food. The service was friendly and attentive. We arrived early, before our reservation and was seated almost immediately.

We are traveling with our dog, so saw they have a small patio that we can enjoy. We went for lunch on a Monday - The manager - my guess that he is manager - that greeted us was less than welcoming, but we proceeded on to seat our selves as he instructed. Our server was SO nice, and totally changed our experience for the better! The menu has a lot of options, and we selected the Cobb salad and the crab cake salad. Both were really good, fresh ingredients and a. Ice size. The crab cakes are really good! We saw the tinned fish/sea menu and asked our server. He was so informative and explained the idea, and service of it, and it sounds wonderful - like smoked salmon served with crackers, etc. - they have many choices of fish, and it sounds great! We’ll be back because the food and server were excellent. The manger needs to smile.

Birthday celebration lots of fun, great service. Sitting outside is the best, much quieter.
