This review is coming from a local resident . This is the second time eating here and unfortunately have not seen an improvement in the quality of the food. The lobster pasta was horrible ! After two subpar dinners there is no reason to try a third time .
The noise level (acoustics) was unacceptable. This made for a terrible experience even though the food was good. Unfortunately the design of the restaurant would have to be changed to rectify. Some people walked out after arriving. Absolutely not a place to take a date
We really enjoyed Larsen. Jesse was attentive and an excellent server and the expos and bussers were very polite. The wine list was very good and my cocktail was wonderful. We didnât know to request a high top which is where the best views are, but our table in the dining room was where we were sat. My husbandâs back was to the window, so I got the ocean view! We recommend the squash blossoms. The cod was excellent as well. Great spot! We will be back.
Staff is amazing, drinks were delicious as well as the food, beautiful at sunset! Absolutely loved this place.
The food is OK, not worried for the money, you pay, the Server need to explain more ABI it the food when itâs asked. They are hidden charges if you pick a drink . I am not a drinker However( I ordered bloody Mary with grey goose vodka and I was charged $20 extra for picking up grey goose vodka)ð I can buy the whole bottle of Vodka. But the ambience was perfect.
Incredible location and higher end vibe. Prices are high, but it's Laguna so no surprise. On the higher end of prices in the area nonetheless but you're sitting right above the sand on one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in California. Food was great, service was a little slow but we were in no rush as it was an A+ setting. Overall it is worth the prices. Valet for $10.
2nd time here in two weeks. was 5:30 on a Tuesday, had the place to ourselves which asnt bad considering we had company in from out of town. Crushed it on the apps, pretty much had one of everything scallops, oysters and calamari were the best. Rest were ok... Had the lobster pasta, super bland. Desert ok.. As far as the service it's rough, new people are not getting the training that they need. Simple things like clearing plates not happening, drink refills lag or never come. We waited 35 minutes for the. They need a full time guy/gal to come in and get folks vetted and for the price point step it up on the entrees. Think I'm done with dinner, might try the sushi bar or come back for the brunch on the deck.
Worth a visit just for the views and ambiance. Food was tasty and worth the money but drinks were a little overpriced. Overall we had a lovely time and will definitely be back!
