Really good sushi, if you sit at the bar at front, you get to experience a show. Fast service.
Small, quaint, 4 small booth table hybrids plus sushi bar seating for maybe 20. Very private. Loved it.
Great food and menu. Would recommend the 79 Special with eel and strawberry! I go here regularly and it’s one of my favorite sushi places in socal
The sushi chef is so happy and radiates joy and I can’t rate any lower because of his smiling face.I only wish the prices were more transparent. Got a carafe of sake that ended up being 20 dollars. I just asked for sake, assuming a carafe would be between 7-15. Also ordered sashimi that was way above what I expected. Ended up spending 60 dollars for two rolls and a carafe.
AMAZING CHEF! Sushi rolls were so fresh and it was very clean and had such a nice and friendly environment! Definitely gonna go again, the chef was very nice too!
Tuna looked off, didn't eat it. Probably the most overpriced Japanese I've eaten
Neat spot and absolutely delicious special thanks to the chef! Chef was understaffed but was holding up well under the circumstances.
If you show up at 8:30 with a party of four and you walk in and see a table for four, they might tell you they don’t have room for you even if they close at 9:00. Again, as a restaurant owner, I would fire anyone who turned away a paying customer before the listed closing time. We are super polite and walked out without a fuss, but we’ll never be back. Bummer… I was hopeful based on other reviews
Gross sushi, unsanitary and super fearful I would be sick that night. Disgusting and nothing like professionally prepared fresh Japanese Sushi. Beware! Really awful and potentially harmful. We stopped our order while there.
Let's start with being seated. We waited outside with the bottom of the door closed for at least 10 minutes not realizing we could have walked in to take a chair because no one even came to talk to us or invite us in. There is literally only one waitress and one sushi chef so even being seated after we walked in took another 10 to 15 minutes. Needless to say by now we were starving and ready to order. After the order was placed it took at least another 25 minutes to get it because of the single sushi chef. It's a good thing we were starving because the sushi and rolls were very underwhelming and fishy. In addition there was a years long buildup of filth around the seats. More or less every aspect of this restaurant (service, quality, facilities, flavors of food) was poor.
