40th wedding anniversary!

Hadn’t been to Dizz’s in at least 10 years but it was just as good as I’d remembered…everyone’s food was delicious and flavorful…we topped it off with the amazing Belgian whipped cream pie and crème brí»lée…perfect ending to a great meal but now I’m soooo full…highly recommend

All went nicely ! Server was nice and attentive ! Food sauces were super tasty . French onion soup was best we have had in a long time. Presentation was well done . Drinks were good . “The bathrooms could use some upgrades since bathroom’s are important “, as my dad would say as a food restaurant critic for the Chicago Tribune. We will return ! Love the character of the place and chef definitely has some excellent sauce recipes .

Food choices were many. Made a great poultry choice. Nice touch was a complimentary aperitif.

A wonderful dinner celebrating our 47th anniversary. It had been a very long time since we had dined at this establishment. What is so special about it is that it has not changed. This dining spot is 45 years of great food, excellent service and tradition. Definitely return sooner than later!

Rosted Duck was over cooked under the skin. Duck meat stringing and dry.Sourdough bread blackened and unable too slice.Pre dinner salid consisted of 15 to 16 Spinach leaves.The Chinese Prons and Shrimp dry and overcooked.Felt sorry for Deric the waiter, truley understaffed. His smile and demeanor of honestly trying too please made up for the poor meal Quality.We made no verbal complaint,Just enjoyed being at Dinner.

It’s not the Dizz’s I remember from years ago. The food and service were fine - my only objection is the ‘surcharge’ that was added to the bill for using a credit card. $150 for dinner and a drink and then find out that to use the most common form of payment in the industry, a percentage gets tacked on? That’s my last dinner at Dizz’s.

This is a unique place with a great setting and a very special feel to it; old school vintage LaGuna Beach , very wide and well prepared selections cooked very much home style. Great place for a nice night out - drinks are fantastic!
