Italian Pizza

The food is consistent and good. Pizza is the best pizzeria pizza I've found. The house salad with ranch AND Italian dressing is great. The mushroom fettuccine is nomb. Everyone is nice BUT overworked because of constant staff shortages (nobody wants to WORK these days)...so just don't go when in a rush and you won't be disappointed.

This used to be our go-to must-visit place when we'd be in town. We both grew up in La Verne and have eaten here for 30 years. It has definitely been a little lacking in recent visits and just isn't the same. The service has still been fabulous and our most recent visit redeemed itself a bit, but I just hope it turns around back toward its former awesomeness!

I am rating the service. I am really upset. This was my first time there, I just went to pick up my food and the ladies there ( a blonde with brown roots and brunette with curly hair) did not acknowledge me and were putting the money away as if were not there. Took a while and the blonde lady just asked my name with a rude tone. Another lady with straight brown gave me my food..she was nice. I left and went back in for my soup as it was not in the order. The blonde lady saw me and quickly turned to go out in the patio. I saw her just talking. The lady with curly hair put stuff away and then finally asked if I was helped. She asked the guy to get my soup..he was nice too. As I waited I told one of them how friendly her coworkers were in a sarcastic manner. She was sweet and didn't understand my sarcasm. Those two ladies made me feel uncomfortable enough to write this. I can't imagine why they would be rude.

Just had the most dreadful meal at the La Verne location tonight. Went for the first time to try it out. The waitress had to come back and verify our order three times; don't know why she couldn't keep it straight. Service was extremely slow. It was over 50 minutes just to get our food for two. The waitress was more interested in the football game than in serving us. The garlic bread was undercooked. My ravioli was lousy; the spaghetti OK. I asked for one sausage and was served (and charged) for two. The calzone was served with no sauce. Asked for a napkin, had to remind her again. The waitress was nowhere to be found; when we asked another server for our server, our server finally came out and said "I heard someone was howling for me..." Gave me a pizza box to take home my spaghetti. Never got my drink refilled or came back to ask how our food was. I heard other tables making similar complaints. And if you want a restaurant that follows current mandatory LA County masking requirements, don't come here; the staff doesn't wear them. Would not recommend.

Excellent food! Had the lasagna and cheese ravioli-very fresh.

Awesome food great service

I had a piece of Italian sausage they much have put in the microwave.Rubber comes to mind. Sloppy wet Spaghetti that a was terrible. It used to be better and it may get better but I'll never know. That was the last time after going there for almost 40 years.

A great place for our celebrate our anniversary

Friendly staff, great pizza!

Food was very good, very friendly. Just alittle pricey. My son, that usually only eats two slices of pizza, wanted a third. Also, my daughter LOVED the chicken Alfredo dish.
