I've been here a few times while driving home at night, usually about 10pm. Everytime there was a really long line and a much too long wait. This last time was ridiculous. The line went almost to the driveway on Foothill when I got in it. I sat there for about 20 minutes and it didn't move a car's length the entire time. Not sure why this place is consistently bad at making fast food. Definitely needs new management.
I haven't gone to this place recently but since time is changing I wish it can be as before with the jukebox, mood setting lights, huge space, sturdy tables with plaques and photographs from the 50s-90s plastered all over the walls. Last time I went was the mid 2000s. It was so beautiful. Now it looks like the setting isn't right with the new and old. On Route 66 this place shouldn't had changed. It was perfect how it was. The renovation shouldn't had happened. It was like a time capsule.
Saturday night 5/14, one lane to order and everyone in lines meal wasn't ready. We all had to park and wait. And wait and wait, my receipt time and our food to car time was 9 minutes. Our food as well as others was carried under the arm of the employee with many other bags. Absolutely no one cared and the lady who delivered our food while talking to her walked away. This isn't the first, not the second or third time this McD's has horrible service. I don't bother calling the number, they don't care and make excuses too. I guess if we don't patronize, we won't have the problem.
It's 12:43am on Sun, June 5th. We've been driving for hour and have 90 more minutes to go. Everything is closed. This location showed the drive thru is open 24 hours. But it's not! l the lights were off and there are cones blocking the drive thru entrance. We went about 20 minutes off our route to come here for coffee. So thanks for that.
Used the drive thru ordered 4 ice cream cones for the kids, I paid by credit card the employee at the payment window couldn't process card payments so she told me to pay at the second window. At the second window they took my card and walked away with it. They handed me the ice cream and my card, I asked for a receipt and after a few minutes waiting in the Drive thru they asked me to pull around. After several minutes of waiting I entered the store, the manager says there's a problem printing a receipt I said "were you going to come out and tell me?" So she rang up 4 ice cream cones and handed me a receipt that is in no way connected to my card purchase. Really?
The employees and management here are rude and alot of times the food is cold or made sloppy. Not to mention they continously ask cars to park. There are 2 male employees though who are extremely nice and always great you with a smile.
I got a Deluxe breakfast and it was so tasty. My girls loved it. Friendly customer service and quick.
Waited 7 min for someone to take my order, they didn’t so I used their kiosk. Gave me a tent number and said “table service, please place tent on table and relax. Your delicious food it’s on it’s way” 15 min later they called out our table number. Ok no biggie. It was set ‘to go’ when I’d ordered ‘for here’. I noticed our drinks were missing, tried flagging them down, but no one seemed to want to turn around. Took another 4 min. Once at our table I noticed there was no sauce or ketchup, sent my son to ask. He waited another 4 min, decided I had to go since they were probably ignoring him since he’s a kid, I waited another 3 min till someone finally turned around. Food was delicious but service was extremely slow. Took more than 30 min to finally eat.
I don't know why, but everytime I go here the McDonald's app be messing up. Ice cream machine is almost always down of course. I could just be ordering fries in the Drive Thru, and they still have the audacity to tell me to wait in the front. The main Manager is rude as hell to her employees. The fries aren't always evenly seasoned, nor fresh. Overall not the best location....
“24 hours”. Just drove 8 miles to be here both inside and drive through closed.
