Wednesday’s fish tacos are fantastic. Brings me back to Ensenada street taco vendors. And the fish in the tacos are big and fresh. A must.

The photos below are of 1 of 3 of the burned Taquito’s that were on my first visit to Don Baja’s, served to me in my “to go” meal. I am astounded that anyone in any restaurant, would allow something this horribly burnt and inedible, to go into anything but the garbage can! Shame on the cooks, and shame on whoever tried to cover it up with all of the shredded lettuce! I spent about $53 there today, and will not throw away my money on food that should have been thrown away before it ever reached me! The asada French fries were not eaten either, as the person I bought them for, said they were terrible tasting and they were thrown away.

Very friendly. Food is delicious, and the prices are good. Excellent value! It was closed one day, and I thought that they went out of business. I was so sad. When I realized that they were just closed I was so relieved!
An unmasked guy walked in being on the phone, ordered, and used the condiment station still talking to the phone unmasked. Saw this from outside and decided that we leave. No one from the place stopped him, and we were very disappointed.
Great food! This place is very similar to la bufadora restaurant. We had the taquitos, nachos, potato taco, and tostada. Everything tasted amazing! Stop by if you’re in the la Verne area, you won’t be disappointed.
When I went there yesterday for a late lunch during work and was thus starving, I realized after I ordered that I had forgotten my cash, debit and credit card in a purse I had used over the weekend. The cashier, Giovanni, came to the rescue, offering to put in the cash for me when I said I could Zelle him the money. How often do you find customer service like that these days? I almost cried. And the potato tacos were delicious!
Good little Mom & Pop place, ordered food to go for myself and three customers. Taco tuesday, all tacos under $2! You can order protein style tacos, skip the tortilla and have youre taco wrapped in lettuce. I will go back again if Im treating my customers, too far for me to drive as its about 30 miles from my house.
