I think saws is one of the best sushi restaurants in La Quinta the food is so good and the specials are even better I think it’s on of the best
The seaweed salad was so fresh! I loved it. The sushi was great! If I ever come back I’m going here again.

The sushi is delicious! I’ve been here 2 times already and I love it. The fish is so fresh and it tastes great. Staff is not too talkative but they are nice overall. Definitely recommend.

Tempura was great. For some reason the nori seaweed used in the California rolls and the handrolls was absolute rubber, you just chew chew chew. The nori could not be eaten so we could not finish our sushi and left. Paid for sushi that we could not eat. Very disappointed.
An unexpected joy. This unassuming restaurant punches well above it's weight. With Sea Urchin, Eel, and Scallops that rival Okura (our local 5+ star Robata) you can bet we will be back.
I Rate this a 4 stars because the quality of food was ahead of the game, the appetizers I got was stuffed jelepenos it had half crab and half tuna with dressings let me tell you it was great ! And the baked salmon roll was just mouth watering, the flavor was so graceful the roll literally melts in ya mouth overall my rating is an 8.2
Excellent food, but 5 unformed-yet not well trained customer staff (not counting kitchen staff) was disconcerting. Better training and stewardship of paid employees could get the 5th star!
