We have been to many of the Chinese restaurants in Palm Desert and La Quinta and Palm Tree Palace is our favorite beyond any doubt. The food is healthy and delicious and the service is excellent.. Amy is the best! She makes our dining experience delightful and we highly recommend this restaurant to all of our friends and family!
Very unprofessional staff! I decided to go in and try their lunch. Unfortunately they will not allow you to wash your hands before you sit down. As a result, the waitress screamed across the restaurant “Hello!!!!” and startled everyone in the restaurant! Totally unprofessional and very rude on the part of the service staff. I do not recommend this place at all. I guess I should of formally sat down and requested pre-authorization to use their bathroom in order to wash my hands. The waitress literally screamed so loud that everyone in the restaurant were all looking around all startled. One star for them until they learn how to treat their customers.
After reading so many positive reviews, I dropped by to get lunch to go. Delicious! Can’t wait to go back. I talked to another customer (Chinese woman who knows good, authentic food) who was there for her third day in a row. Plus, the staff is friendly and helpful. Give them your business, you will be thankful.

We went here because it came highly recommended on another site. I won’t get into the service, it’s like everyone else says. I will review the actual food. We have tried every Chinese restaurant in the valley, and this rates among the worst. The food was tasteless, very few veggies, and gross meat. Panda Express is by far better, (even tho we don’t eat fast food Chinese). Take any positive reviews with a grain of a salt, or assume they are related. Will never return.

Nice menu selection. Very good food. It got pretty busy 'cuz they're kind of short of help; other than that we loved it and would return again.
We are always anxious to find dim sum. While this area has great restaurants, there is a profound lack of goo Chinese restaurants. We have been to Palm Tree Palace twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Food was good both times. It is a busy place in a strip mall. We will be back again.
Palm Tree Palace is your basic Chinese food. It doesn’t wow but doesn’t disappoint either. We ordered their Chow Main, Fried Rice and Garlic Chicken dish. They were ok. The prices are roughly $15-$20 per item so it can get expensive fast. Overall decent Chinese food.
The worst service we got today, was supposed to celebrate my Dad’s 61st birthday, but this old server guy refused to give us the big table we wanted. We were a party of 7 and wanted to sit at the big table as we were going to order lots of food, but the old guy refused to put us at the big table and told my parents to just leave if we don’t want to sit on the smaller table.The food.is really.good, but that.old guy needs to be trained better.
