Decided to try out this restaurant today and absolutely fell in love. My server Liz was very friendly and quick to make sure everything was perfect for us. The food was delicious and was given to us pretty quickly. After we were done eating the manager Maria came up to us to ensure we enjoyed our meal and she was very sweet. Overall I had an amazing experience here.
I ordered Quiche Lorraine. It was undercooked and soggy. I sent it back and ordered waffles with egg and sausage. Nothing special there and poor presentation. I had to chase down a waitress for a knife. My friend ordered bacon and eggs. Bacon was overcooked. We were not comped anything. Not a good experience this time
The service was great and I really like the menu. This time, I had the quiche. Fantastic.
Breakfast review: Potatoes are cubed and fried in WAY too much seasoning salt. Simple special requests were ignored: No tomatoes in Bacon/Avocado Omelet and substitute fruit for Potatoes for an extra charge. Didn't want to complain about it with friends happy with their orders but bill came with the extra charge. Asked for it to be removed and it was handled with marginal apology.
Short story: Breakfast here was depressing, dismal and burnt.Long story: First, we asked to sit outside and we were told by the one poor woman working all the positions herself (hostess/waitress/busser) that outside hadn't been cleaned but we could sit there if we really wanted to (basically she was pleading with us not to go outside). I told her inside was fine then.I ordered simple French toast breakfast with sausage and scrambled eggs; my two kids ordered the kid puppy pancake. When the order came out, there was bacon on my plate instead of sausage. As she set it in front of me and then gave my kids their pancakes, I said, "oh, sorry, I ordered sausage" and she took the plate back to the kitchen. I could see they scraped off the bacon and relpaced it with sausage when she gave it back to me...but I *do* wonder what they did with that bacon that was sitting in front of me that me and my two kids were breathing on?My French toast was burnt. It tasted like old toast. My kid's pancakes were also very bland and literally just a stack of two little dry and overcooked pancakes on a plate. They didn't touch their food outside of a few small bites and I left my French toast there. We never had a chance for refills or anything with the waitress because, like I said, she was one lady trying to wait on 10 tables while also seating, cleaning the tables of dishes and doing the to-go orders at the front. I left her a nice tip but honestly, for $40 it was an awful experience.
The price here was comparable to the cheesecake factory with much lower quality food. Sandwich was very good, dinners entrees were not. Portions were not large enough for the money, and were certainly frozen since some of the carrots were still ice cold ! Server was just ok. Overall an underwhelming experience, there are so many places to eat at that are better than this one. Drinks, nonalcoholic were overpriced and had no flavor. Will not be returning.
The counter help is always nice but they never have the order that was placed over thirty minutes prior ready and most of the time I'm waiting over 15 minutes. The food is good though so I don't mind that much, they do there best.
Bad experience. One of the waitresses was super rude about a fish that tasted undercooked/from a can. I immediately got a headache and almost barfed. She was rude. Defended the food instead of being nice enough to give me other options.
Hardly anyone inside, to top it off my wife order medium reared steak, it look like a soyburger patty you'd buy at stater bros..and I don't mind paying for a good meal. But it wasn't, slow slow service ?
Very good for casual, comfort food. We would go again. Friendly, attentive staff. I had a veggie egg white omelette, Jim had a grilled cheese sandwich. We were both very happy with our food.
