On our 1 st visit (5-29-22) since the the change of ownership and reopen we found the following.The inside decor, and of course the location are very good.We couldn’t help observing that each member of the staff was in there own seemingly unhappy little world. In the hour that we spent on the outdoor patio area no staff member was caught smiling or speaking in a welcoming and sociable manner to any of the customers. This cool atmosphere of unhappiness was present inside at the order counter and outside as items were brought out to customers. This negativity starts at or near the top of any customer facing business. Are the employees treated badly badly by management or ownership, or were the wrong people hired? Probably some of both. We enjoy the old town plaza and the businesses that welcome customers with a smile and attentive service.Tough love for what could be a great place for a coffee shop

I get espresso over ice and a pump of lavender. So good! And the baked goods are fresh. Sorry to see so many bad reviews, wonder if it was the first few weeks under new management with a little shakey start but the last 5 times I’ve been there are exactly what I’m looking for in a coffee shop.
Very friendly staff. Very busy but was worth the wait. Loved the muffins and cookies. Wife loved her coffee. Look forward to going back.
From beginning to end this was a failure. Waited 30 mins to only find out they forgot our order. Once arrived the coffee and food were not worth waiting. Sorry, try another business next time.
This place is relatively new. They took over the coffee shop that was here previously. Some improvements have been made in the layout. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The cappuccino I got was excellent. Perfectly made and fur better than the coffee that was served when the prior coffee place was here. I found the prior coffee shop to be inconsistent. From my cappuccino this morning I'm impressed with this place. Note that they do have food items but nowhere near the caliber of the old place. So that's the trade-off. But the coffee and the service were definitely better. I will definitely come back. Note that many of the negative reviews for this place should be taken with a grain of salt because there are a lot of people that were loyal to the old owner and staff.
Perfect place to relax after bear creek/cove bike ride. Friendly efficient staff. Nice Bakery selection and good coffee. Plenty of bike parking and outdoor seating. Fun atmosphere next to village green.
Clearly untrained staff left on their own !! Baked goods look good except for all the cookies which were all burnt .. the coffee condiments stand was a total mess even know the place had only a few customers .. creamer lids were left off garbage all over the counter , poorly laid out as people were dumping garbage into stir sticks and sugar’s, cream and spilled coffee all over the counter .. left my American on the counter as it was very watered down show if the barista has no clue how to properly use the equipment … I e had better gas station coffee experiences … I expected more from this store , pretty disappointing
Loved the place a few years back. Food menu is lacking. Very $$$ for what you get. We left and went to Wilma’s for breakfast.
