The service was atrocious and the attitude of the server, Cesar, was appalling As a resident of PGA West, my wife and I went for breakfast at 8:30 AM We were the only patrons in the restaurant except for a table of 4 men who had already eaten as they were sitting around talking. After sitting around for 15 min and no one had approached us I asked the hostess to get us a waiter so we could order and get some water etc. At that point the waiter Cesar, who was counting money at the bar, stated that he was our waiter and he was busy and he would be with us shortly. I shook my head and walked back to the table and he told me that I "need to learn patience" I could not believe he said that so I asked him to repeat it and he said "I am the only one here and you need to be patient" SHOCKING considering my wife and I were the only ones being served in the restaurant . After we ordered we never saw him again, not refilling our coffee checking on our order, etc. until we chased him down to get our bill. I tried to discuss this with Flavio Ramirez, Director of Food and Beverage at PGA West, but after 2 days/4 phone calls he never returned my call.
Excellent brunch on the patio! Bloody Mary's and Eggs Benedict. Service was great as was the view.
Great venue, outside seating was amazing, everything was good except for my battered fish and chips, the batter was still runny.uncooked.

This is the first review I have written since the start of the pandemic, and I do hope it is read by the restaurant staff. I am writing to encourage readers to skip the cobb salad! This was the poorest excuse for a salad I have ever had. Everything was tossed together, and I had to dig through the enormous bowl of lettuce and flavorless dressing to find miniscule pieces of bacon and bleu cheese. I ordered the half size, and joked to my husband that perhaps I got the half without any of the ingredients that make up a cobb salad. The restaurant should be ashamed for passing off this bowl of lettuce and not much else as a cobb salad. On the other hand, the pastrami Reuben is outstanding. We both ordered this at a previous visit, and my husband ordered it again tonight. I wish I had.
Great restaurant located at PGA West Course. Casual dress code after a day of golf. Good bar food menu with everything from sandwiches to fish/ chips to steaks. Delicious chicken pot pie served in a puff pastry bowl that is light and fluffy.
Felt like I was in Hawaii at a nice resort for casual dinner. Absolutely wonderful setting where you can sit outside and relax near fire pits. Warm heaters for all tables. VERY RELAXING setting. Good Service. Food is casual but really good. They made a special request for me for meal and drink. Very nice. I would go back here again and again. My only comment to management is to work on the outdoor lighting that light the outdoor tables closest to the bar. The lights come on with a timer and are not set well. I had to wear a visor at table to improve the ambience at one point. Lighting is very important in ambience. Servers tried to help.
This one as our first time to go to Ernie's but it was very good. Can't go wrong with Ernie's!
