We ordered 3piece breast and wing dinners. The only thing slightly acceptable was the corn. Coleslaw looked and tasted like it was scooped into the little container last week. The chicken was dry and hard like it had been cooked and sitting out days ago. When I lived in OC years ago it was my go to place. The chicken was moist and juicy like it just came off the grill as were the sides. I would rather go to KFC at least it’s consistent. Sad because I loved that fire grilled chicken… They obviously don’t know how to do it here…
So unhappy with El Pollo Loco in both Indio and La Quinta. Been to both several times and we have decided to give up. 95% of the chicken we received was either way over cooked with dry skin and meat, or the coleslaw had almost zero dressing, and or the rice had color, but zero flavor. Spent over $44 today and that’s the last of our hard earned money we plan to hand over to them. I’m so disappointed as we loved both El Pollo’s in Burbank. They always provided freshly cooked, perfectly done meals. Had hoped for the same here, but looks like that’s impossible. I hope someone in management wakes up and really looks at what they’re serving. I really hate to wait until we make our next visit to Burbank again. ?
I came to visit Palm Springs with the family for Memorial Day weekend. I wanted some pollo loco and when I arrived I was first greeted by the rudeness from the employees and I could tell they didn’t care and were very unaware of their work environment. They forgot my dressing for my salad and messed up my burrito by adding beans when I asked for no beans. If I could put 0 stars I would this was the worst pollo loco I’ve ever been too giving me the worst experience. This place needs to rework their entire vision and mission when it comes to their customers.
Great service overall, my order came out right and very fast my favorite is the chips and guac, and the chicken is one of the best chickens out there
Waiting in the drive thru line, get up to the window and they tell me it’s an HOUR WAIT for chicken.JUST CLOSE THE STORE!!!CLOSE THE DRIVE THRU!!!!Now I gotta wait to get out of the drive thru now.
I like the pollo asado but for some reason this store most of the time dining is closed 04022023 closed.Only drive thru is open since the beginning of 2022 only a handful of times dining room was open. Food is not always fresh or rigth so I woyld say is a 50/50 chance you will get the rigth order.

Dont eat Their burrito avocado chipotle is not good , and their combo is just ugly why i would like corn chips without anything on it , so if you ask for the combo also ask for a bounch of salsas aside
I placed an online order and paid for it. When I went to pick it up the store was closed. I get things can happen, but I followed directions and submitted a refund request via your website 4 days ago and still have no response. A simple email or phone call that you received my refund request would have been enough for me right now to know it is being taken care of. As I paid for a entire family meal I did not receive.
Drive thru wouldn't take my ebt and I had to go into the store. I tried to make another order and they were out of chicken. Then I waited so long for my food. It was good but gees El polo Loco in the cabeza.
