Old school restaurant and bar. Food is great as well as the service. Reasonably priced with good wine list and cocktails. Music is appropriate for the setting. One of our favorite places in La Quinta. Wonderful view from the front patio

OMG don’t know why it took so long to go here for dinner, in Oldtown La Quinta. Live music in the bar, crowded, noisy, Friday night party, and great, simple dishes.

What a treat!!!!! Hernando really took care of us. Dinner was nice but the piano bar stole the show. Everyone having fun and singing along. Just terrific.

Food was great, music was fun and the waitress and valet staff were so good. Best customer experience we’ve had in the area so far!

Amazing local restaurant. Great atmosphere. Bill Baker is so fun in the bar.

Used to come here in the '70s when it was open for lunch and breakfast. As I remember the food was pretty good the service so so.

Such a warm place! The owner made sure to find room to accomodate our party of 7 + 3 dogs, even though it was a busy Friday night. The food was delicious and the staff wonderful. Thank you for making our night out such a wonderful one!

Not only the food was fantastic but the service was outstanding. Owner is such a nice person. He went above and beyond to place our large group on a private section without any reservation on a packed Friday evening.

It's a very nice place and if I was 20 years older I would probably swoon. The food was fine but very traditional in that the salad was iceberg, the veggies were bias cut medley by which the freezer isle is inspired and pasta was abundant. I had the shrimp scampi. Sauce was no where to be found but the shrimp were big and juicy. My SO's veal picata was pretty good, but again lacking in any creativity or modern flair.

Love this place... great food, drinks and Bill always makes you feel like he is just there to sing to you
