We LOVE Casa Mendoza for many reasons … the food is delicious, the margaritas are good & strong, and the service is great! Family owned place that puts out quality food in a friendly, hospitable way.

I think this is the best Mexican restaurant in la quinta!!! The prices are good but the food is fantastic!!! Yes fantastic!!! I was deciding on taco salad or fajitas, I got taco salad the only one to compare is in San Diego. Shredded beef had rice homemade beans lettuce and everything else. But while I was eating I smelled the most perfect fajitas go by. My wife had grilled ahi, with a garlic topping. Was perfect. Even the chips an salsa were homemade. I could write more but just go an see for yourself. I highly recommend.
Great little spot with good 'perfectas', great guacamole and love the carne asada burrito!

We used to love sitting at the bar and drinking a pitcher of Margaritas with our meals. Due to Covid we now order pick up 2-3 times a month. There are a lot of Mexican Restaurants in the area but Casa Mendoza has (in our opinion) the best combination of food, drink and atmosphere. The Margaritas and the Mole are the best we have had in La Quinta.
I Went for my birthday today and literally took 40 minutes to get our food we asked for it to go because I had to go pick up my kids and that took forever. On top of that my food was burnt I didn't even finish it I get the same thing all the time the service is usually fast and today it was literally the worst service and the burnt food sucked. I did not like it at all. I dont recommend it. Ruined my birthday dinner.
