What a nice local find! Food was excellent and service was great. Bit of a college coffeehouse vibe, with local artists showcased on the walls. Seating is limited.
I normally do not write negative reviews but in this case I feel I have no choice. I’ve been coming here weekly, sometimes daily, for 6-plus years. C&S used to be my go-to, and I would much rather support a local shop than Big Coffee. But there has been a noticeable decline in quality recently.Hours have been cut back.Drip coffee is no longer served. A coffee shop without drip coffee? C’mon! And today, I think, was the last straw (pun intended). Received a cold brew that was cheap bodega coffee instead of the quality cold brew from Stereoscope they used to serve. $4.50 for iced coffee that tastes like your grandparents’ stale, watered-down Maxwell House? No thank you.Pretty bummed about the decline of this once-relivke local coffee shop. Hope they are able to right the ship.
Always nice when a place aims to be more. Cream & Sugar is more than a food place. It's also a charming art gallery and a ❤ nursery.
Very good food variety in their menu... surprise about their menu
Not sure if it was a bad day but the minute I walked in it felt hot and uncomfortable compared to outside. No seats available outside cause everyone was out there waiting instead. Asked for extra bacon (and got charged for it of course) but they only threw in 1/4 of a piece extra. The eggs were good, waffles were okay, and the bacon tasted bad surprisingly
I liked this Cafe. It's a really nice place for a couple friends or in my Case mother and son to just sit and enjoy a chat with a bagel and coffee. Had a great vibe, wish it was bigger felt a little cramped but it's a cute place.
Ive currently sat here for 15 minutes waiting on my simple, on the menu, no frills, no substitutions coffee. I was running late so I thought instead of sitting in line at Starbucks I would run into this small shop. There were two people sitting inside waiting together and they had already ordered. The staff completed, I don't know, 5 or 6 to-go orders for customers who weren't there... which sat on the counter the whole time as I waited for my coffee. I had the time to be irritated enough, watching them do all this, to start typing a review... and then waited for 5 minutes to before I even hit post. 20 minutes now for one coffee. I guess I'm joining team Karen because 20 minutes for a single coffee when youre alone in the shop is not customer service... just so they could make To-go sandwhiches. Finally got my drink... I ordered a large. They filled a large cup to the same size as a small. Never going back.
Loved my first experience ordering coffee and Açaí bowl from here ! Must try ♥️
We are out here for a tournament and stopped here before our sons game for something light. .....we really enjoyed the breakfast bagel sandwich, and the grilled cheese with chorizo....nothing was greasy not even the chorizo.....my daughter enjoyed the fruit and acai bowl
The staff is super swag and the food is super swag
