I got the stuffed french toast, my husband got the steak an eggs. Both plates were very delicious. The The atmosphere is great and the workers very kind. We will definitely go back!
Great food, love have outdoor seating. It can get busy and the line is long for ordering, make sure you have time to wait for a lil but. Food is delicious and worth it. Dogs are allowed on the outdoor seating which us a huge plus for me and my fur buddy. I didn't get to take pics of food but they have a huge selection of food and you can't go wrong with anything on their menu!
The best Swami’s out of all the San Diego locations we’ve tried. Not only they have the largest menu and a better variety of food and drinks, but they are also open later in the day and you order at the counter, which we find to be more convenient. We’ve been regulars here for over a year now and despite recently moving to the north county, still keep coming here on weekends. My favorites here are the blueberry coffee and the Lox scramble - the two items that most locations don’t even have on the menu. Always very generous portions and fresh ingredients. In addition, you never have to wait for a table and the service has always been friendly and fast. This Swami’s doesn’t have the “trendy brunch” feel and I don’t believe they have alcohol on the menu, so if that’s what you are looking for, this might not be the place for you.
My first time here and it was Mother's day so that may have played into the fact the food was for the most part mediocre. We ordered the special pumpkin nut pancakes with eggs and bacon and a large stack of pancakes with two cups of coffee. The pumpkin nut pancakes were delicious, the eggs were cooked properly but served cold, we requested the bacon crispy and was as limp as cooked spaghetti. The regular pancakes tasted like cardboard. Our first choice of coffee was empty and never refilled during our visit so we had to have our second choice. Many restaurants it seems go for ordering at a counter, you pay and tip before you receive any service. I presume this saves the restaurant money but does not guarantee good service. You receive a number and should attach it to a clip on the table. Many times I saw food runners circling the dining room looking for a number only to circle again and again your food going on tour and cooling as it goes. It might be better to have the number already attached to a clip rather than hope customers do, not sure. The system definitely needs tweaking.
Great and delicious food. definitely coming back again.
Quick & friendly service. Tons of amazing dishes to choose from (something for every!)
Live close by & LOVE swamis!!! They also own la mesa bistroConvenient locations as I get my daughter smoothies after school (la mesa bistro & school are neighbors)& when I'm home I just walk to swamis!!!Awesome serviceAlways cleanAlways delicious & fresh& the tropical storm is a must try ?????
Disappointed. My go to Swamis is in Northpark where I’ve never had an issue. I decided to order my usual - a Lobster Benedict and when I received it, the box looked like it was tossed around and it didn’t include the hollandaise sauce or asparagus that it should come with. Additionally, avocado was added for some reason? the eggs were very over cooked and the lobster was burnt. I also ordered bacon but it was also MIA.
Delicious as always. They've expanded the patio tables too. So plenty of seating outside. I had the Santa Fe Turkey Omelette which never disappoints
Like most people in SD, I discovered Swami's Encinitas after surfing. Fast forward to moving to La Mesa and we were delighted to find one in the village. Huge, delicious portions, amazing outside seating, and excellent customer service! Plus it has that beach cafe vibe true to its roots
