This was a great place that was not in the hustle and bustle part of San Diego. The staff was great and the menu had many options for all of us. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we left satisfied.
Really, really fantastic food! Their "oven-baked" omelettes are out of this world! Great options for kids, super friendly service. Coffee was superb! Highly recommend their Sunshine Omelette! I can't wait for our next visit!
They have very pleasant servers. The food I ordered was pretty good. The coffee was excellent not bitter tasting. I drop off my car at tent world for a wash had breakfast. My day is starting off great.I didn't under stand all the negative comments but my experience was nothing like what was stated.
The positives are that the food was tasty. The negatives are that it was very pricey for what we got. It was $2.50 to add tomatoes to my omelette and $2.95 for salsa. (The "salsa" was actually pico de gallo.) It was also almost $7.00 to add two small sausage patties. Our total bill for three people was $85.00, not including tip. I've had better breakfasts for cheaper prices. Sadly, we won't be back.
Had a great time with some good friends here the other morning. I would recommend the oven baked pancakes. The table shared a pear pancake. It was incredible:)
I should have know better but i gave it a try any way . Customer service was poor 3 people got seated befor i got checked out for a to go order and the price was $21.00 for a omelet and toast the quality of the food is poor . Doesn't even deserve a review .
I live close by but had never been in before because it looks like an abandoned building from the outside. Wish I would've driven a little further to Denny's. $86 bucks for 4 for breakfast food is ridiculous! It's freaking pancakes and eggs! The place is run down. They didn't ever greet us when we came in or say we're busy it'll be a minute. At least 10 minutes went by before they acknowledged our existence. The staff was nice enough but not worth $86. They have mediocre food with high end prices. If your going for the dive look, then your prices need to match. Also you're not serving gourmet food, so? Won't be back ever.

This is one of my favorite mom & pop breakfast places. I highly recommend the pear oven-baked pancake (a house specialty item that's similar to a German style pancake), the oven-baked veggie omelette, or the continental crepes. Nice staff, great food.
I was surprised at how average this was because others gave it such high reviews. It is diner food~ok, but not great. 18$ for a German style baked pear pancake was a high end breakfast entree~and all that came with that order was the pancake. The scrambled eggs, bacon ~and hash browns (of the frozen variety) were meh. I suppose for locals they may appreciate the owners, waitstaff and diner foods, but I would not go out of my way to go back. A tab for almost 70$ for three breakfasts was almost choke worthy!
