I ordered a Carnitas Taco. Had to ask them to shred the meat, which they did, but the pork wasn't crispy & juicy like it should be. I'm giving this place 2 stars because I went through the drive thru & didn't receive any type of disposable tray or plate. I even asked, but nope. Anyways, this taco is suppose to come with 2 corn tortillas...I received only 1. Plus, no fork & this is a freaking mess! They should be giving out coupons to the nearest laundry mat with your receipt!
For 11 bucks I couldn’t be more disappointed adobada burrito felt just as light as a bean rice cheese from Taco Bell
Ordered 1 kids meal. Asked for the rice and bean option as a side - order was repeated twice at the window to me - paid and got order - got home - no beans in kids meal. Take time to check your order, even in the drive thru. I have a picky kid, he complained he got shorted all night. Nice location though.
The drive-through line was a little long, and it took almost 15 minutes to get our food, but it was worth the wait.
It was a little pricey…We went to Sombrero Mexican Food located by Lake Murray La Mesa, it was our first visit, we went through their drive through and the food came out fast but the quality was not okay…The amount of food did not worth the money we paid for… the chicken chipotle bowl was only 1/3 full and the bag of chips was so small… the green sauce and red sauce were both so watery ?The burrito was as small as the size of my hand, all our orders were flavorless but salty… I wouldn’t even know what I was eating if I didn’t look at the receipt of my order …
This place is going downhill...no quality control, order extra sour cream and quacamole and in the drive in and get home to find neither. And I payed for it. Ripped off by people who don't care about the service or product

The quality in the food preparation & service has GONE DOWN. This was my last time going to SOMBRERO MEXICAN FOOD in Lake Murray. I ordered thru drive thru , a soup with 2 bones, & asked the cashier to please repeat my order, so I would know that he took my order right, & when I opened my soup at home, it had very little hominy & NO bones as I requested. The soup looked diluted as if they gave me the last in the pot. If they didn't have enough soup to complete my order, I would of appreciated them telling me, not robbing me the way they did. What employees do reflects of the quality of the restaurant. This seemed to me like the workers didn't care about my order purchase, they just wanted to put in their hour at work.
Was good food, tasted fresh. I'd go back again.
