Went there today to buy fish tacos, chicken rolled tacos, rice, refried beans and horchata. The tacos were small (street taco) but flavorful and only $1. They were definitely worth it. The rolled tacos were kinda mushy. The rice was good but the refried beans and the cotija cheese were just a tiny bit too salty for my taste. The horchata was good though. The place is very clean and white (bright). The person behind the register is thorough and is good at selling up. I was greeted with a smile which was hidden behind a mask but those eyes don't lie. Definitely not your traditional mexican food place. The aesthetic is very modern which I thinks takes away from what you might expect from a mexican restaurant. Just my opinion of course. Would it stop me from visiting again? Nah, I'd definitely go again to try what else they have to offer and will update my rating/review accordingly.
Nice family-owned restaurant. They obviously care about their business and clientele. I came after the lunch rush and the place was clean as a whistle! Very friendly fellow at the register and he made good suggestions on what to order based on my preferences. I loved the veggie burrito (it was MASSIVE!), though something in it was too salty. It wasn't the rice, beans, or guacamole, they were fine). The churro would have been better if it hadn't been over- coated in cinnamon. I'm going to come back and try the fish tacos next.
My wife and I love this place. The portions are fantastic, the food is always fresh, and the staff is very nice and pleasant. Special orders are never a problem. For instance, I love sliced avocado on my burrito, as opposed to guacamole. They never give me a problem at all. Also they have a burrito with carne asada and beans and green chili. It's to die for. You can't go wrong with this wonderful place. There's plenty of parking, but you might have to park a little ways from the place as there are only a few spots right next to the entrance. But since it's in a shopping center with a grocery store. The grocery store has lots of parking.
Since I moved to the area, I've keep ordering chilaquiles (green sauce) at least one and sometimes two times per week along with a large horchata drink and some carrots on the side... Everything is freaking good. And everytime time I go there, I try really hard to order something else just to give it a try but I just can't!..Summary:I can't tell you about how the other entrees taste, but CHILAQUILES are awesome !!Staff - awesome ?
terrible customer service
Great food. We go there on occasion. Went to go there last night and it was dark / closed. Hopefully it hasn't closed
Very yummy! I've tried a few dishes here, but really love their carnitas.
Don't bother calling in orders cause they wait till you get there and then cook it so they'll tell you oh sure just give me your name but when you get there they start it and you wait extra time. they also glady charge you for extras but not put any extras
My husband and I just tried señor Burro’s for the first time. We really loved the rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese. We also tried the Carne Asada and Carnitas street tacos, and everything was really good. We will be back!
Not sure how to feel. The food is really good and they know how to follow directions when it comes to special food orders and such. But, for whatever reason, I always have issues when it comes to their salsas and them just giving me what I ask for! I’m honestly starting to think it’s because I’m white. I ask for one of each and every time they either don’t give me the habanero salsa if I don’t bother double checking or they ask if I’m sure, suggest it might be too hot for me and blah blah. Yeah I’m sure, that’s why I asked for it! Never has this been an issue at other places or when coming in with my hispanic friends, hence the maybe it’s because I’m white thing. And it’s not even that hot! Just give me the salsa next time! But hey, the food is a good otherwise.
