New favorite taco shop! the nachos actually have nacho cheese on them not just shredded and the fish tacos are delicious. Really tasty carne asada and guacamole too. Rice is meh but the hot sauce is really good too.
This place is AWESOME!Great food across their whole menu, I haven't had a bad item yet. Their cali burritos and breakfast burritos are particular soft spots for me. Family run so you get to recognize the staff really quick after a few repeat visits. Can't be beat on University Ave!
My son's favorite spot. Chicken rolled tacos a the best I ever had. The chicken is seasoned and there is plenty inside the roll up. Seriously the best.
The best fish tacos I have ever eaten, and I've been around longer than I care to say. Family owned, friendly service, but the food! It is delicious. I can also recommend the camarones al diabla, or con mojo de ajo, both phenomenal. They never disappoint.
These guys hands down make the best rolled tacos in San Diego . Each one cooked to perfection with the perfect crispiness, never over cooked or undercooked and the red sauce is bomb!

Really good Mexican food at reasonable prices. The guys that work there are super cool too. The drive thru is short, so they're practically cooking to order at the order window.

They newer management got some amazing cooks! Hadn't been here in a while. They have the best Breakfast burritos than ANY of the taco shops in La Mesa. Rolled tacos are alway fresh and filled with alot of meat. Everything fresh and tasty red salsa! You must order a Breakfast burrito!
