The food was fine and tasted good but nothing special it could have past as a home made meal. We spent about $15 per plate and desserts were about another $10. I will say the servers kept forgetting additional requests for sauces.At the end of our meal I requested a meal to go and they completely forgot it. I didn’t get charged for it so I didn’t ask again.Also very important THEY INCLUDED THE TIP IN THE TOTAL. We almost hadn’t noticed that the tip was included when paying. We would have double tipped because of this. The tip they added to the total bill only came out to be 15%.
I only put a star because you have too but definitely DO NOT recommend this place, first they took forever to ask us if we wanted anything to drink then after 30 minutes just because we had to ask for the menu if not we would of been waiting and other tables that arrived after got served before us and after we finally ordered the food was horrible i ordered albondigas and legit was water with mashes tomato skins tossed in and meat was undercooked and chiclosoHorrible horrible
I grew up coming to this Marietta's. Proposed to my wife there because it was our go-to place during the pandemic. I probably been here closer to 100 times in my life and I've never had one problem with the service or staff. It also seems like their prices really are not going up. It's a cute sit down restaurant with the price of the Taco shop. Free chips and salsa and hot carrots. I'll say it again free good chips and salsa and hot carrots.
This is my first time, I order Carne Asada plate, and I order my steak MR, never in mexican restaurant cook my steak, the way I order, this place is the best, I definitely go back to Marrietas is berry good and the service, perfect,Thank you guys ?
Nice place, usually good but the carnitas was very dry and even difficult to eat it was so dry, had to add some onions and peppers from our friends fajitas to be able to eat the carnitas.
The food was not at all what we expected. The queso fundido was served on a plastic plate. For the price of a queso fundido we expected like other places for it to be a good amount. It barely made 2 tortillas. The food unfortunately did not have much flavor at all. For my 6 year old and 10 year to say the meat was not at all great, that says a lot, they are total foodies, eat anything and everything. We love to venture out to new restaurants and unfortunately will not ever be coming back to this place. First time and last. Service was not at all the best either. We sat to the left of the restaurant and were forgotten about. A Mexican to the core but the food here is not at all tasty like real Mexican dishes.
Delicious Mexican food. Love the chips & salsa. The best margarita. Wonderful albondgus soup & tortillas. Delish quesadillas, tacos & enchiladas. Good service too
Food was cold, it was cold, I have been going on to MARRIETTAS for years, till covid, I'll try the one in Santee ca next time

Strong margaritas and food was good.Attentive and fast service and decent prices.Don't come here for the chips and salsa though. I tried both red and green and both Too watery. Rice and beans were average but taquitos came with tons of guacamole and sour cream and kids meal of burger and fries was tasty (Curly fries served).
