I recommend the folded chicken tacos. The crunchiness of the shell is perfect and everything is perfectly fresh
Whenever we come back home to San Diego, we plan a visit to La Esquina. We especially love the rolled tacos, rice and beans as well as their fresh chips. They also have excellent customer service!
Ordered a machaca breakfast burrito, though tasty lacked beef and was mostly egg. Very fresh, great for those seeking low sodium as it lacked salt. Added their great red salsa and made up for lack of salt.

I love this place. The quality of their food is very good. It doesn't taste like your average Mexican food. The meat is very tasty. I've been to plenty of Mexican food places and their meat is always too bland or too tough to chew. This place is great?

Went at lunchtime, drive thru was packed.Potato taco combo was good. Enchiladas were too spicy for my hubby. He likes 0 on spice scale. Service was friendly. Place looks pretty run down, but the food was good.
Great food. Efficient drive through and service.
A little pricey for a taco shop, but it's really good, so it's the only reason I'll concede to paying their prices.
