I’ve finally decided to stop going here. This place is super close to my work and close to my house as well. Usually I’ll come and grab something quick and it’ll be a pretty normal experience. Probably 30% of the time though, something is missing from my order. Since i don’t dine-in, I don’t know what’s in my bag until I’m out of my car and starting to eat. Today was the dealbreaker. I ordered 6 tacos and a large curly fry. I got charged for it, but only received 2 tacos and the worst batch of fries i’ve had in my life. They weren’t lukewarm, they were cold. Genuinely cold. Like, probably 70°. I ended up throwing away the fries as they were soggy and cold and unenjoyable. I also asked for hot sauce because I like the tacos with some sort of flavor to them. What did I get in my bag? Ranch and ketchup. Not even remotely close to hot sauce. So, I now have 2 tacos that I paid $10 for. I don’t recommend this place unless you think you can win the lottery and have these people actually do their jobs correctly.
It was great. Food was hot and made good. Tacos are always solid. 5 stars. Got it at 5:30 am after a run

The food is good and cheap. Sort of the middle ground between standard places like McDonald's and Burger King, which have cheap prices, but lack freshness and flavor, and higher priced joints like Carl's Jr and the Habit, which give you a bigger, better tasting burger for a few extra dollars! I'd say just as good as In n Out, but without the soggy fries! Lol
My husband and I were already in a crabby mood. We just wanted a cheeseburger!! But, everywhere else was either closed or only serving breakfast. So, we had to drive out of our way to come to Jack's. We pulled through the drive thru and we were greeted by Lauren and Vincent. Can I just saw WOW! I can honestly say that I've never experienced such phenomenal customer service! You never get that kind of service anywhere these days. They legit made our day!Someone give these two a raise! Then after that, let them be in charge of training other employees. They are the pillars of customer service!
Wanna say Chad being trained graveyard by a crazy customer Service savvy guru I mean this wpman was over awesome above all the perfect example of the roll a supervisor/ trainer/ lead should adopt full throttle I give this team a trillion thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!
If I could give It 0 stars I would. This specific location continues to have on going issues. And Every Friggin' time. "Staffing issues". Miscommunication. And the one time the Manager forcefully walked out to 'honor' my mobile order, "I'm extremely short staffed, Ughh. So and so called out!"....with an attitude I might add. Like it's the customer's problem. Definitely not a Manager type of attitude and response. And just right now, Again! Trash cans blocking the drive thru. You walk up to the building and a hand written note says, "Drive thru Only". Come on!!! Someone else moved the trash cans and employee came out only to say, "It's all a mess in there. It's a mess. Two people called out." ???Okaaay.

This restaurant is the cleanest place to eat. Not like spring valley or El cajon. That I got food poisoning eating . Always check the bathroom first before ordering. If bathroom is dirty. The employees ate dirty. You can get really sick. La mesa is the.best. five star for all employees.?
Ordered food from the drive thru. First and foremost, (I wish I'd could remember her name that took the order)but her Customer skills was on point! She deserved a 10! Very courteous, polite, efficient, and personable, but prompt! The young lady who collects the money & delivers the food obtains the same recognition!Our food was Fresh N Hot & correct! We were impressed, especially since we had three special orders! A+ today..
