Giving this place 5 stars based only on their hot and cold subs they are amazingly good. While waiting for my subs I noticed that their breakfast plates look pretty damn good too.. Right now they say They serve breakfast until 2 PM. Got a chance to look at there entire menu, And it all looks pretty good if they make the rest of the food as good as they make their hot and cold subs.

The bread....OOOOOH BOY!!!Fresh fixing's and service with a smile. Had an Itallian sub (excellent!!!)Next time I'm going hot pastrami n cheese on rye!

I got the 12 inch Philly sandwich on my first time. It was HUGE! And tasted great

The hot pastrami sandwich was really good and the onion rings was fantastic. I would return there again to eat that sandwich or try something new. The sandwich is big enough to share with someone.

Awesome family run breakfast daily specials. Great portions at affordable prices.

BEST PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SANDWICHES AND GYROS in San Diego!! This has now become my #1 stop whenever I come to town. My server, Lenore, was so sweet and VERY attentive. Generous helpings of great food, excellent service at an affordable price! What more can you ask for?!? except add some bell peppers on that Philly for me, which they were more than happy to do. Yum!!

As good as I remember. I used to go to Gus's many years at there old location. Finally was able to rediscover this place and it didn't disappoint. We got what we would get which was the Philly and the meatball sandwich.

Summary: under staffed, long delays, food under cooked, no condiments. I sat outdoors for breakfast with a few other customers. Inside tables were over half full. Only one waiter was working multiple tables both inside and out. Long delays in service were obvious but I decided to stay. Eventually, after a rather long delay cycle, I sat with a coffee and menu before me. I ordered a simple eggs over easy, bacon and wheat toast. Twice the normal time passed until the food arrived. I asked for utensils. Another delay. With the food nicely cooled off it was apparent that the egg whites were still runny, clearly under-cooked and I wondered if the yokes had reached cooking temperature on the grill. Toast was dry. No butter, jelly or condiments were provided. I grabbed a salt and pepper off a table nearby. After one taste I asked for the ticket and, after another delay, paid. Two stars out of pity for the owner. I know staffing is difficult but seriously, simple rope off all but 5 inside tables. And for God sake get someone in the back who can cook.

Excellent to good service. Great Belgian waffles, eggs and bacon cooked to perfection. Crowded on weekends in the morning. Outdoor shaded dining area, indoor service or takeout. The gyros here are heaped with meat and worth the visit. The gyro plate includes salad and generous portion of crispy fries. Usually less people dine in after breakfast. Clean dining area and restroom. Outdoor waiting area of six chairs for social distancing for walk up orders.I recommend this place for Brunch or Dinner.

Very displeased with my Gyro. Quantity was good, but the meat was over salty, fries had no salt on them. Did not know that. Was not offered salt for seasoning. Glad I did not leave a tip!
