Meh. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant when we first arrived but left feeling overwhelmed at the noise level and annoyed at the temperature and flies because of the open air concept. The food was good, not great and the service was nothing more than average.

Terrible service. It was 97 degrees outside and they had their AC set at 83. I saw the thermostat. Water is only brought if asked for, so bring a water bottle. My friend had to leave early because of heat exhaustion. Our waiter never checked on us and had no knowledge of the menu itself, so don’t ask questions. I’ve lived in La Mesa for 12 years and this is not representative of our city at all.

Good food, but it took about 30 minutes to get our drinks and almost an hour for our food. Waitress was nice but they seemed back up in the kitchen.

Popped in for the first time.

I was a little annoyed that I made a reservation for outdoor seating but the hostess was only seating people inside. As a result, the inside was full. Was hoping for a safer outdoor meal with Covid levels so high. Spreading the patrons out a little more would have made for a better experience.

Farmer's Table is always delicious and delightful! Our server was actually the bartender and she was able to do double duty efficiently with a friendly, helpful spirit. Try the Strawberry Fields Forever! My new favorite :)

The staff were delightful happy to help and very enthusiastic about the food. We were seated immediately and taken care of with our 2 year old. Her entree came with our starters which was perfect so she was happy eating and sitting in her highchair. We had the calamari and oysters then the sea bass and filet mignon - it was all so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

The Breakfast, pales compared to their dinners. Our food was bland, like they wanted to play the hip factor on the presentation, and forgot that the food was the objective. IHOP, Original Pancake house offer better bfast cuisine. We will just stick with their dinners at present.

Good pizza and sandwiches selection. Also good beer selection. Noise level a bit high inside, better outside. Really good, attentive service. I will be returning.

This place is wayy over hyped. The food is mediocre and the service isnt that good. Our waitress forgot about 2 items we ordered and then when asked about them brought us the wrong things. The cups looked dirty and they didnt bother to put any ice in our waters so we had to drink room temp water when it was 80 degrees outside. It took forever for them to bring out our food and when they did it was room temperature. Music was blasting the entire time we were in there at 10am, I had to basically yell across the table to talk to my family. We sat inside and had 4 flys circling us and landing on our food the entire time. While sitting at the table my sister and I both got bug bites on our legs. The food tasted okay and the antique decor was cute, but thats really all they have going for them.
