Best carne asada in San Diego... being a texture freak, I prefer my carne asada gristle free, fatty free, fresh and clean tasting... El Azteca's hits the mark every time!! This family run business has kind people with generous hearts. When I need my carne asada burrito fix, I go here every single time. ?
This place has been my favorite Mexican food since high school almost 20 years ago. Had this for dinner today and no one could stop eating. Keep doing what you're doing El Azteca.
First time here, food was pretty tasty, will return. I had rice, refried beans, lettuce and tomato toppings, a beef taco, and a couple of cheese and beef enchiladas for less than $10 bucks ...! With a drink. They could easily charge more here for the quantity and quality. Staff was welcoming.
My first time here it didn't start out been a very good experience. Because I ordered without an ingredient and they didn't prepared my order right the first time and the person that served me was stingy with the ice in a very small cup no less! When I did get my order, I noticed that it still had a little left of the ingredient I didn't want, so I put it aside and tried to enjoy the rest of the food. To be honest, the food was delicious and they did served me a very generous plate. I think that I will give them another chance to woo me. Buen provecho!
I've been coming here since my high school years over 20 years plus and today came in to order my usual and total.came to over 13.50, when it was only 9.80 2 weeks ago. Woman gave me an attitude as well, no hard feelings time to move on from this Taco Shop. You guys lost long time customer
Ordered my very first California Burrito here and walked away impressed. You definitely get your money's worth. Service was friendly and fast. I would definitely come back.
One of the best California Burritos I've ever had in San Diego. (been to 15+ taco shops) If you eat in, they give you salsas in bottles to enjoy!! 9/10 would come back. 1 point for the tomatoes in the pico being very big.
This place has great food. Their beans and rice are delicious.. They have chicken rolled tacos. Their Pollo asada is seasoned well. They are not shy with the guacamole and their prices are right.
