So unfortunate to be posting this review since customer service seemed to be satisfactory. As I was eating, I realized there were dust/ possible cobwebs on my waffle cone. Upon further inspection, saw a spider on the fruity pebble of the chocolate waffle cone, please see picture below. The waffle cones have most likely been sitting on the counter for a long while and have harbored guests. I hope to not be sick after eating some of the ice cream :( No more Cold Stone for me.
Excellent service from the kind brunette lady. Door dinger is kind of annoying tho.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Every employee in the shop had there hair flopping around. When I asked for a lid it was put on then handed to me with globs of ice cream falling down the sides of the cup. Won’t be returning.
Bella was the sweetest person ever, she helped me pick what ice cream flavors were good and it turned out to be amazing, she made my day by asking how I am and how my day was going. Very kind and sweet person.
I’m a big milk shake girl, and their malts were on point. Corn in the cup was a huge hit in the house. Family owned. Definitely will be coming here in the future.
At House of Joy, you can find your good ol' korean/Chinese food. Jjangbbong (spicy seafood noodle soup), jjajjangmyung (black sauce noodles), fried rice, veggies, and different types of protein dishes (seafood, meat, chicken).I always get the jjangbbong (I get just the soup without noodles), Peking chicken (glazed, sweet, not-so-spicy, and easy-to-share chicken dish), and sautéed green string beans (nice and crunchy).
So my only thing that I’m less than thrilled about is that when I called to ask if I could make an order over the phone, the employee that spoke with me was quite rude. It does not take much effort more to be kind and say “I am so sorry but we are very busy right now, but you can come in an order or make the order online”. That is so easy to just do... so I gave lower stars because the costumer service was not good. It is so sad that good costumer service no longer seems important.
Ordered through postmates. Didn't respond to calls and never answered the phone. Order was never completed. Terrible place.
Dont think icecream is good?? $$$
During pandemic, only 4 people allowed in the store. Very clean, and helpful.
