We've come here every week now for months, but unfortunately tonight is our last time. We weren't greeted at the door by anyone, sat ourselves, brought high chairs over for ourselves, cleared dirty dishes off our table by ourselves, and also got happy hour menus by ourselves. Although it was clear they were severely short staffed, nobody even acknowledged us there and waiting for a long time. A simple "hey guys, we are running behind tonight" would have been great.We can walk here from our house, so it's unfortunate to be writing this place off. For way better service, try BeauBeau across the street or Trattoria Tiramisu down the street!

My wife and I was looking for something different in LA Mesa. We walked passed almost every restaurant and majority of them was busy except this one. We took a chance and we wasn't disappointed. They was playing old R&B in the back ground which reminded me of home. The food was on point and the customer service was too. Thanks again for the great experience.
While the service was a little slow it was worth the wait. We had breakfast. The waffles were excellent. Vanilla, cinnamon and amaretto flavoring. The waffles were home made. Definitely not Krustees like many places. I could see the vanilla in the waffles. The people were very nice came by often to check on us
Great place to eat, top notch customer service.The owners are awesome. Everything on my plate was perfect. Even the coffee was so fresh. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends.
Loved my experience here. My fiance asked me to take her for brunch to somewhere that's NOT a sports bar or pub. I remembered this place because of the bistro style. Then I was pleasantly reminded the great beers on tap including one of my all time faves. Also great staff, fast service, and tasty food.
Usually love this place. After ordering coffee they never brought it out but they brought coffee to other customers. It wasn't crazy busy and our server never came back to take our order. Totally disappointed, bad service.
I stopped in this morning looking for a new place to get a bite to eat at 10am. I've never really spent anytime in La Mesa to check out the businesses there. Very surprised about what a nice neighborhood and business district. Stopped in at this restaurant and was happy that I could get a delicious hamburger at 10am this morning. My server Adam was a very pleasant young man who made sure my order was correct. I will definitely go back again for another meal again.
Great place to eat, the food was wonderful. The service was excellent.
