Tonight was my daughter's 17th birthday. BJ's is where she wanted to have her birthday dinner. We we seated quickly and our orders taken. And that's where the good pretty much ended. Our original server had to take her dinner break and we were turned over to another. It took a very long time to receive our food. At which time my order was completely incorrect(mistakes happen). I had to get up to find someone to get some ranch dressing for our table. My family had completely finished their meals and my order was nowhere in sight. I finally had to, once again, get up and find our fill-in server to cancel my meal and get us the check. The only good that came from tonight was that the manager did comp our meal. What a fantastic birthday experience for my daughter. BTW my Jumbo Jack from Jack-in-the-Box was delicious.
I took a large group of children to BJ's last week, and our server, Edgar, was amazing! He was kind and attentive to all of the kids' needs, including specific orders, kids' starters (I had no idea that they would provide bread knots and fruit to the kids!), silverware (kids don't need steak knives, and Edgar was quick to replace those with kid-friendly forks and knives), and dessert. The food was fantastic, too!
This location has always been a "Hit or Total Miss" with us.The food is either amazing or awful. The staff is usually okay but seem unhappy. They have a lead/manager that has been pompous with us when the food is subpar and we've brought it to his attention.Today was different. We were there at opening and had a projected 10 minute wait although there were only two tables seated. I get it. We're ALL understaffed. We got tired of waiting and opted for a booth at the bar. Best decision ever!!We were waited on by Samantha. What a rayof sunshine!! Not only were our orders PERFECT, we felt like family. I asked if she was there every Sunday morning because of she was, we'd be there. Brunch wasn't cheap. $115 because we had cocktails but Samantha made me happy to spend it. It was a beautiful time with my husband and we felt so cared for. Money will spent!
Ordered online for pickup and disappointed. I specifically said multiple times and had it written down many times that I wanted my food to be warm. I do not want my food to be cold because usually food places make the food way ahead of time and just leave it out for the customers to just pick it up. So I made sure to write "make sure food is warm" at least a million times, it was impossible to miss. I get home and of course my food is cold. The wings were ICE COLD looks like it was made days ago and then just packaged for our order. Flatbread cold. Mozzarella sticks cold. Everything was cold and impossible to enjoy. Why is it hard to follow the paying customer's directions? Unacceptable and unprofessional. There should definitely be money compensation back because I stated many many many times to not let my food go cold, and the employees purposely went against my directions and did the opposite. how disgusting and disappointing. never ever ever returning or buying from them again. waste of time and money.
My wife and myself enjoyed BJ's restaurant, my wife and I ordered avocado egg rolls, tri-tip and shrimp scampi combo in sauce with no pasta, a very flavorful dish and a philly cheese sandwich and barbecued baby back ribs. I also enjoyed the world tour beer tasting 4 beers to try. The waitress was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The restaurant and amenities are clean. I would definitely recommend this BJ's restaurant.
Horrible. Our server was great. Unfortunately majorly understaffed. We waited an hour and half for a table. And 2 and a half hours to get our food and pazookies. Then one person didnt get served at our table for 25 minutes, while we all ate. Very unfortunate. I was there for family dinner before went home to Louisiana. It was a shame.
Normally i review this place 5 stars a few times 4 stars just because of a wait. Other than that tosay was the worst service we have ever had. Not only did he not "feel" like he was interested. He didnt act like it ans we constantly had to stop him as he would walk by are table with dirty dishes and empty drinks. Didnt even offer a second drink to myself. I wouldnt have tipped him at all but he gave my son Cherries"and it was my sons birthday) so i tipped him anyway.
We had a celebration of our friends birthday in the patio a couple months ago and Joe the host helped make it more special by helping us decorate the table with flowers before she arrived. Also, our server Shelby was so nice and gave us great service. Sorry for the delayed review.. We will back once we get together again in 2022.
Terrible service.My husband and I walked into a mostly empty restaurant and were told there would be a five minute wait to be seated. Ok, fine there is a “labor shortage” we can wait. We were then asked if we were rewards members to which we replied no. After a few minutes of waiting, more people entered the restaurant and were immediately seated. While waiting we watched several staff members mill about talking and joking at the hostess station. That was enough for my husband to decide that we were not going to eat there so we left.
