We love this place!! Food is always fresh, restaurant is always clean and the customer service is A+!!
My friend knew of this place just off the La Mesa main street and we ordered inside and then sat outside on the patio. I got a great taco and beer for such a reasonable price. Sometimes got to just get off the expensive main drag and find these little places to get a good deal.
There was a parking lot, it is a convenient location surrounded by different restaurant! The inside sitting area is not big but there was outside seating too!We spent 10-20$ for each person but I won’t recommend this place at all, drive 5 more minutes to the other Albert’s for way better food and service!We have been to the other Albert’s Fresh Mexican Food and we loved it so much so we decided to give this one a shot! Unfortunately, we were really disappointed with this Albert’s Fresh Mexican Food in La Mesa…The beef tacos and burritos were really good! The burrito was about the size of my arm! That’s all the good things I can say about this place!The layout of the fountain drinks was very awkward and inconvenient, we ordered 3 big rolled tacos but the staff told us that we could only pick one meat which did not happen in the other Albert’s so I was shocked.I asked for a chicken soup and the staff said that she will have to ask the kitchen to see if they have any chicken soup left, she came back with a positive answer, so I ordered it. However, when I received my chicken soup, there was only one small piece of chicken in my soup? And the carrots were so hard, it tasted like they just throw some carrots right into my bowl.If you don’t have anything left, just tell me so I can order something else, don’t try to fool your customers and give them the bottom of the bowl.

3 mini tacos is a great deal and they’re amazing ! Also the girl was super sweet and kind would come again !!! I don’t know the girls name but she’s at the register !
