We’re here every other Thursday after my wife’s massage. We’ve lived in La Jolla our entire lives and have never found a better breakfast/lunch spot. From the staff, to the food it’s always been a 5 star place.
Amazing time! Food was great and fresh! Staff was very nice and amazing.
Great place for breakfast in La Jolla. Be sure to have a scone with their homemade jam! Brought home a bag of their granola as well! The fruit plate is amazing.
A couple was sat before us then the Host walked away and didn’t come back for about 10 minutes. We were not greeted at all, all the wait staff just walked passed us like we were invisible. Food was mediocre and over priced but I’m guess it’s because of the area. Very disappointed
The Soy Chorizo is so good. The bowls for my hash were perfectly crispy and the potatoes, man, them potatoes were something outta this world. And the Scone was a perfect call by my girlfriend, it was perfectly crusted and crumbly yet crunchy and sweet. We will be back because that stuffed french toast looks absolutely insane and i have to try it.
Impressed with everything. Very relaxing, good service, and the menu had many choices including healthy fare. Will be back to try other items. Had the All American Breakfast, two eggs (any style), bacon, cottage potatoes and a scone with jam. The scone was very tasty. Restaurant located near/in downtown La Jolla, and popular with the locals and tourists.
I had the Joe Special, and it was delicious. The scone was light, mildly sweet and the jam was perfect as an accompaniment. My wife had the Monterrey Scramble, and was equally impressed. The service was prompt and friendly, and the manager came to check on us twice. Would highly recommend.
Great experience. I ordered Joe's special and the scone on the side was amazing, especially with the jam! Perfect service and huge selection.
he braised beef hash was really good, but it could have used more beef. The scone and jam it came with was amazing though, as another review mentions. The stuffed french toast was good but not amazing.I still remember coming here a few years ago also for my birthday weekend. They had an event where if you sing the national anthem you would get a free dessert. I think we were the only table that did it, and the manager liked it so much he comped our meal. I wish they would have that kind of fun thing again.
Great breakfast place with outdoor and indoor seating. Very popular
