Our waiter Tim was exceptional. Great job. The food was delicious.

Fun restaurant for meeting as a group! The service by BeBe was outstanding! Fun place in downtown La Jolla!
Our server was lovely but the restaurant is understaffed. Chef does not make substitutions even for allergies. They did eventually because the alternate dish our table ordered was sold out. Given how good the restaurant choices are within a few blocks radius, itâs hard to recommend.
2nd time here and i have to say we were very disappointed. Our server was great except for the fact that we had to wait a long time for the table to be cleared and our check to come. We even got up from the table to leave which didn't prompt anyone to come over to check on us. The food was really not good. My ahi tasted like it had been thawed from frozen and the fish and chips were super mushy in the middle which made it taste like it was undercooked. The ambiance is lovely except there was house music from a DJ that was playing it all way too loud. Our reservation was for 6:15 so it was a bit out of place to have that kind of music in a dinner crowd.
Food is mediocre, especially for the price. But our waitress was really lovely.
I know there is inflation going on but the size of the fish and chips dish was reduced as well as the contents. I guess thatâs how there keeping the prices down.
Chicken was dry with too much salt and pepper. Shirley Temples were made with soda water because they were out of sprite. Didn't even tell us so we could order the kids something else. Everyone was done eating by the time the last persons food came out. The steaks were full of gristle and fat. Way over priced for what we got
Very bad service We had to wait almost one hour and we only got water Not even a piece of bread Very poor service The Captain or Hostess couldnât manage the situation Very rude with her answers explaining why the kitchen and the server were not taking care of us We had to cancel the food and leave the restaurant without eating Never will come back to this poor managed restaurant.
Seemed like an off night. Service was really slow, the servers were attentive, but it just took a really long time to get our drinks and food. They apologized and said it was an off night, but that doesnât exactly fix the fact that it took probably close to half an hour to get our drinks, and then an hour and a half to get our food. Food was really good though. We were in a rush so we didnât get to really enjoy it as much as we had wanted to.
