My husband and I went here because it looked delicious and we love macaroons. We are picky about them. We ordered a box of 6. Upon eating them, the flavors were off and didn't taste fresh. The raspberry didn’t taste like raspberry and the salted caramel tasted like butter. The others are not worth talking about. We also ordered the dark chocolate raspberry truffles. They were beautiful to look at it, but the flavor was also lacking. The chocolate tastesd like low quality and the raspberry flavor tasted artificial. The staff was super kind and had great service. The store was very clean.

This page is small but cute! After walking around the cove we walked by this place and decided to go in! The deserts were all so interesting and they had good macaron flavors to choose from. I believe we got birthday cake, peaches, rose, pistachio, lemon and chocolate. They we baked perfectly! My only complaint is that they’re too small and go so fast ? we also got three …… those were simple but good also, and their packaging is so cute! Everything was handled so delicately! Will definitely be back!
I love French bakeries and this store did not disappoint! The macarons have a nice crunchy outer texture and a soft, chewy interior. They have some unique flavors that we were excited to try and loved. The opera cake is moist and has all the right notes of flavor. The chocolates are beautifully crafted. The lady behind the counter was lovely to talk to, very patient, and helped us select our macarons when we were indecisive. Thank you for providing us with such tasty treats and pleasant service!

This place hands down makes the best macarons I've ever had, and I am very picky. At the higher end of price/macaron however, totally worth it. Each bite is super soft and very flavorful. Many macarons lack flavor, but these were amazing. I would go here everyday if I lived in La Jolla full time!

First tried Le Macaron at an event in Los Angeles a few years ago. I was thrilled to find out that the owner was opening this location up a few blocks away from me. I have loved supporting their phenomenal business during the pandemic through UberEats and I will happily continue to do so! While their macarons are definitely the star of the show, don’t pass up their other goodies. Everything they make is absolutely delicious! Be sure to pay them a visit if you’re in the area.
