Excellent service, kids friendly, delicious food and margaritas. We will definitely be back.
Walked up here from the cove and seal watching! We got sat right away, & greeted promptly at the table, server was ok but the food was very good!
Came on for Dinner on a sat night, Memorial Day, place was super busy and packed, service was top notch, got our drinks and food so fast considering. let me recommend getting a wet burrito, amazing! My buddy got the Portabella mushroom fajitas, I could smell them coming from across the room. Everything just done right! My compliments to the chef
All the way from Scottsdale Arizona we make a trip to La Jolla and eat at Jose's every time . ocean view and the best Mexican food from the fajitas to the fish Tacos. Never have we been disappointed in Food or Service.
Nice patio with a view of the ocean. Also, a great view of all the people in $$$ cars getting stuck in traffic on the main drag.
I sat outside on the patio and ordered a strawberry margarita and veggie quesadilla. Both were wonderful! Very nice atmosphere watching people walking by as you enjoy a meal while looking at the ocean!

Our server was amazing! Very nice, attentive and personable. I forgot his name, but, he looked like Russel Crowe. The food was pretty good.
Great place for Happy Hour! $2 tacos.My only complaint was the sign said $4 pints and margaritas. Apparently the frozen weren't included, but that was not mentioned when I ordered.
Found this place after having to cancel our reservation @ George’s on the Cove, due to not being dog friendly. Jose’s was a diamond in the rough!! They allow dogs on their patio and they don’t even need to be “service animals”. Wait staff yesterday was great!! Thank you!!
